Makes wonderful replicas and easy to use!
I've purchased at least 50 of these kits over the past 4 years and I love how they work and ease of use! The results are almost always perfect and you can use all at once or a little at a time. I've gotten so accustomed to it, I don't even need to measure anymore! I just know the color it's got to be! :laughs: And it's a wonderful product that makes perfect molds that are pretty durable, flexible and keep all the fine details. The only complaint I might have is that sometimes the pink catalyst bottle is dried out when I receive the item. But Amazon is very quick to replace the kit if that occurs. I think the catalyst dries out in a year or so, (even unopened) so be sure to check that little bottle when you get the kit--that when you shake it, the pink color distributes evenly throughout the bottle and it's entirely liquid. If it's dried out, the pink part will be like a neon pink 'disc' stuck at the bottom of the bottle, never to mix or dissolve.A really great silicone mold at great pricing and easy to use!! Love this and will keep buying it for my projects!!!!! AAA+++++

Don’t buy for resin molds
Makes beautiful molds but resin will not fully cure in these molds . Not worth the money . DONT BUY

Great detail, hoping the resin I picked well work.
Used the 10:1 ratio and let it set up over night. I haven't poured into it yet but as a stand alone I can see the detail well inside and had no issues. I still have about a third of the kit left and may have to recast 2 die but that was present error on my part as a first time mold maker.

Didn't last as long as I'd hoped, but good product while it held up
This stuff is pretty easy to use, it's the mold container and mixing ratios that might trip you up. If you're making a whole container of the stuff, great - just pour the liquid into the gooey stuff, mix and pour. But if you're making a smaller batch, it's 10 parts silicone to 1 part liquid. I use a gram scale and it works out just fine. You have a few minutes of mixing before this starts to set up, so mix quickly and pour. I blow out the air bubbles on top of the surface with a straw. The rubber sets up in about four hours.I have made about 6-7 molds with this stuff and it makes a great copy of your original item and my resin pieces have turned out great. It captures detail very well. However, two of my molds are now "done" as they have started to degrade and stick to my resin pieces. I wrote the company today about the shelf life of these molds (I had hoped they'd last longer than 4 months) and the customer service rep informed me that this product will produce molds that are good for about 30 - 50 "pulls" (meaning casts). You can get closer to the 50 pulls number if you use a releasing agent. I really wish this information was included somewhere on the packaging or instructions. So, two of my molds are unusable, with more to join that status as I use them more. The last piece I pulled out of the rubber mold was actually stuck to it, so I had to cut/tear it out. Please see attached photos for the mold that's now unusable. At $15 for a kit, with the molds only lasting for about 30-50 pulls, I'm not sure I'll be using this product again.

Great Seller.
The item shipped quickly and was easy to use when making the mold. The problem is that the resin doesn't fully cure in these molds. The same batch of resin was used in other molds without this problem. I don't blame the seller because this is a manufacturer issue.
