Color By Numbers - Calm (Chartwell Coloring Books) Paperback – April 7, 2016

I really enjoy tropical scenes to color like this book contains. They really are calming to the people who color them. If you haven't discovered that coloring in coloring books are not just for kids, do try it and see for yourself how relaxing it can be to remove stress. I live alone, and I am an artist. It helps me pass the time. Amazon sells a lot of adult coloring books that are just perfect for me to color. I am happy with my purchase, and I do recommend that you try them for yourself to see if it is something you will enjoy too.

I like these for when I want to do mindless coloring and not have to figure out what colors to use myself. I can easily pack the 20 colors needed and not have to take a full set of my colored pencils with me when I travel. The numbers do show through, but I don't care. The pictures still turn out nice. I really enjoy these. The pictures are a nice variety. The paper quality is decent. I don't have a problem finding the numbers even though they are tiny.

This book contains some really and varied images from mandalas and patterns to nature scenes and people. The color choices are nice and bright. The images are printed on only one side of decent paper. I use Crayola water based markers and there isn't much bleed through, although I still put a piece of paper behind the page I am coloring to be on the safe side. The paper however does crinkle a little from the markers. There are 61 full sized images to color, plus a few practice pieces in the front introduction. While I don't like all the images in this book (I don't care for all the images of people and patterns), there are images in this book that I do like to make the purchase worthwhile. The colored images in the book flaps is also a plus although I don't try to match exactly, but it helps to see the finished piece with the color choices the authors suggest. I have most of the books in this series and am quite pleased with them.

This is an awesome coloring book. The pictures are much more complex than I thought based on other books in this series. It has something for everyone, landscapes, art nouveau, stained glass, Mandalas, mystery pictures...I could go on. I like the fact that it has pictures in styles I didn’t think I would like. Now I can try these without worrying. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants variety and a challenge.

I'm a big fan of this series!! It's the same creator (not just the same publisher) as mindfulness. If you look at the authors of each book by the same publisher, there are differences. This color palette and creator/author match "mindfulness," which is also an awesome book. I have a hard time relaxing while coloring if it's not color by number, and these are some pretty darn awesome color by number books. They're easily my favorite. I wholeheartedly recommend them!!!!

I enjoyed color this coloring book mindlessly. I would recommend anyone who likes doing this kind of craft or would like to try for the first time to get Chartwell Color Book. You won’t be disappointed. The numbers are pretty small but I can see it without magnified glass. The numbers will show thru the lightest colors but that doesn’t bother me since I’m doing this only for pleasure and relaxation.

Nice for a relaxing afternoon. Having done anything like this since the Venus Paradise Coloring sets were out when I was a kid. Very enjoyable.

Great book covering many subjects to color. Using my set of 'Marco Raffine' coloring pencils I was able to match all the colors easily. I especially like that the colors are easy to tell apart, unlike quite a few other color by number books on the market. The color chart folds out from the back cover making it convenient to refer to. I highly recommend this book.

It was amazing...i love these books!!!!! This is the third time I have coloured the entire book. Please bring some new ones out. Always on the look out for these types of color by numbers.

Absolutely love this book. Has fantastic pictures, scenery views, and patterns. All of which are great. This is more aimed for adults though. I use felt pens, and depending what make of pen you have, it doesn't go through to the next page. One picture per page. So if you enjoy colouring by numbers, this is great.

I bought one already as a gift and just had to buy another. I will probably a wind up buying a couple more for gifts. They are great and everone that has seen it wants one now.
