Key fob comes partially opened so that you don’t have a difficult time opening it in order to put the circuit board and battery inside. Once I transferred the items, I tested it and it works perfectly. Actually like this one better than the one that originally comes with my Terrain bc the front is all one piece vs the original fob buttons all being separate. Highly recommend.

Perfect fit and original key even fitin it. It just doesn't have the Chevy logo on the back, but I could care less.

Easy swap. My replacement case for the the original back(so I could keep the logo) and hard key. There is a tiny misfit area around the key chain end. It is very slight, and still takes quite a bit of prying to separate the halves. I put the new back on the old front case with blank hard key for keeping as a backup fob.
