They are extremely bright and exactly what I hoped for, much more light for reversing. Sadly 6 months on and one has failed, so I can't give it the 5 stars the performance is worth when it has only lasted for such a short time.

I bought these for the dull backup lights in my 2006 Highlander, and Amazon assured me that these fit. THEY DON'T. 2006 takes a 7440 (7443) wedge base. This is a 912 size . Wrong size; it's way too narrow. It won't match the electrical contacts at all. Fortunately, I also own a gen 3 and a gen 4 Highlander. I put these in my 2018 and they are truly bright, on a par with headlights. The reverse camera can now see much better, I can see better, and I can be seen better. Ver nice lights, but not for gen 1 Highlanders, despite Amazon telling you that they will fit.

Great replacement of the standard incandescent reverse bulbs on my car. The light is cool white and very bright - brighter than the stock bulb. No problem fitting into my car's reverse light bulb socket nor any problems fitting into the reflector/lens unit. It looks amazing!
