I bought a second battery because I am cutting up big branches from trees we had taken down. I love the chainsaw. It is easy for me to handle. Having the extra battery means I don’t need to come in to wait for battery recharge.

A few years ago, we bought a Greenworks battery operated weed whacker and this is the battery for it. The 2 batteries we initially bought have been used hard over the years and one finally conked out. We bought this one as a replacement and are considering buying 1 or 2 more as my husband does a LOT of weed whacking. Great product. Lasts a long time.

The battery's want charge.

Battery life is great.
Wanted an additional battery for extra duty use of string trimmer. Has a pretty long usage time and single battery normally does not use up entire charge. If I do use it up, I now have an additional battery to finish the jog. Like the Greenworks product line.

Beware
Charged it twice, worked great and now won't keep a charge. Shows green on the charger, doesn't make the tool go. Caveat emptor.
