Best Camping Poles Ever
Bought these to go with a lightweight tarp for shade whilst camping in France, they were amazing, lightweight and easy to use. They stood up to the weight of a large pool of water on the tarp when we returned to the tent after a day out and did not buckle, bend or break. I highly recommend these poles when used correctly.

Excellent adjustable poles
Good quality, easy to use & essential for the obsessive tarp erector, who likes to ensure a tight, waterproof canopy. So good that I ordered another set immediately after receiving the 1st set. Good, sturdy, practical poles. Recommended!

Tarp poles
Good set of tarp poles like the twist and lock into position, quite light but sturdy. Quick delivery.

Overall good, but not fully happy.
These do seem strong and so far appear to lock up quite well. However, my couple of issues are a) the price - I think they are a little over priced, and b) the rubber push on ends. They are stupidly tight and need some serious force to remove them. I ripped two of them off their connected rubber links as I needed so much force to remove them.

Tough, versatile and easy to use
We’ve used these to hold up a makeshift awning for our van on the side door and back door and as a shade for sitting under. The fact that you can adjust the poles with a twist to any varying height means you can get a shade level even on undulating ground. They are thick and sturdy and feel heavy duty but they are lightweight aluminium so easy to carry. They came with extremely heavy duty pegs and, thick hi-vis guy lines. Really pleased with them.

These poles have incredible telescoping ability and are extremely strong, even at full extension. Once locked into place, they don't slip or sag. Even with a rain fly in strong winds and rain, you don't need to worry about the poles bending or collapsing. They're light weight but the metal tubing is thick enough where it's not going to become malformed. The rubber cap with grippy feet is a great idea when using as a center pole. The spikes are long and strong enough where you could attach multiple eyelets or loops of cordage. After a long soaking rain, some water collected into the poles. I had to take the bottom feet off to drain and air them out, so it would be nice if there were actual drainage holes at the feet. I got the 4 pack of poles, but wish I would have gotten the 6 pack, so I actually bought the 2 pack also. I like there are a variety of packs available to choose from, but I'd just get the 6 pack if you're planning on using it for a large rain fly. That would allow some poles to be used as center poles to keep a rain fly from sagging. The included cordage and stakes are good quality. I like the metal tightening brackets that come on each set of cordage, rather than plastic. I wish the lip on the stakes were also metal, but the plastic has seemed to work well and hasn't bent or broken yet. The stakes are strong and can take a beating. The included carrying case is good quality and has held up well so far. I like when companies include a carrying case that is actually useful and durable, so that is a nice bonus. Overall, a great set of telescoping poles. I wouldn't go hiking long distances with them, but they work well for general camping, tarp or rainfly use.

These appear to be as good as much more expensive Green Elephant poles. I'm not sure they will be up to the challenge of windy conditions and large tarps, but if I run into problems hopefully the seller will help. The included guy ropes and stakes are a nice bonus.

These are GREAT. They work awesomely, are easy to adjust, the removable rubber tip covers make them very versatile, and they come with a great little sleeve to keep them in. High quality - I am very happy with these.

I originally wrote a negative review about these poles. Long story short: I am expertly qualified to review this product. I have decades of professional wilderness guiding experience AND I am a literal expert rigger. I also am an avid "burning man" style camper. I'm basically MacGuyver without the physics degree. I rigged these poles out "outriggers" to my Moss Guide Outfitter Wing setup. We were at Scofield Reservoir in Utah. It is a full-on RV style campground next to a lake where we were wake-surfing. I used all my skills and experience to properly rig up my 20+ year old Moss Wing. I used these poles as the outside perimeter poles. I used the original aluminum Moss poles for the 2 primary supports. I used slippery trucker's hitches to tension each additional guy line. If I had to use a stake, I used my trusted US military surplus "sand" stake...which is a fairly heavy duty wide style metal stake about 14" long and about 2.5" wide. I use these all the time. I have to use a 5lb mallet to properly drive them in. One single wind gust that was perhaps 25+mph came in when I wasn't ready...my wing and original poles were fine. These poles snapped right away. Clean breaks. Needless to say, I was upset. BUT...David, from Garden Pro seriously took care of me and I feel very good about giving these poles another chance in a much lighter weight role. He didn't even hesitate to either refund me or replace them. I honestly camp so much that I want the poles, so I agreed to a full replacement. They were here in a matter of days. He also called to follow up. I very much appreciate the excellent customer service and look forward to using these poles--just in a more lightweight role (i.e. not to help support a large group shade structure such as my Moss Outfitter Wing). These will be perfect for "mellow" shade uses, in protected areas, etc. I will use them at the park, and when the weather is absolutely perfect. I know not to expect them to work if there is any inclement weather. Thank you David, thank you Garden Pro for being reasonable and sending me a new set. I won't abuse them this time. :)
