The music sounds clear, crisp and very beautiful. You can hear the music clearly from the next room. The cascading snow swirling through the water globe amongst the ever changing light display is so pretty. I fell in love with this snow globe so much that I kept it for myself rather than giving it to my daughter for her birthday. However, I did purchase her another one and she loves, loves, loves everything about it. For her piano recital she played the song, Elise. So, she's quite the little expert on the music this snow globe played. She also loves the Eiffel tower inside the swirling snow and colorful lights. We give this purchase a big thumbs up.
