If you need one then you know fieldpiece are probably the best you can get. Works as expected. For anyone new to these clamps, don't rush. It can take a good few minutes for reliable temp readings as the sensor adjusts from room temp.

Seems most everything is made with plastics these days. I recall that line from "The Graduate" with Dustin Hoffman about just that. This clamp is made with it and as such it can't be treated with recklessness. I've read and seen other instances where the handle broke from mistreatment. Care must be taken to take it from and pack it in a tool bag. Still, it is a good temp sensor clamp to use in HVAC applications, does well and is a time saver.
