Buy it for taste, not economy... it's great and will change your view of ramen noodles.
I always bought instant ramen because it was: A) cheap, B) convenient, and C) reasonably edible. After watching a foodie video that had food experts blind taste-testing ramens, I decided to try this one based on its popularity with the testers. They were right... it's fantastic. The texture, taste, spice, etc. are all top-notch. And it is still economical compared to other foods. I don't think I'll ever buy the cheap instant ramens again. I think this one really is worth the extra expense.

Amazing, restaurant quality instant ramen
Absolutely the best ramen I've ever had from a bag, bowl, or otherwise; the only ramen that can even compare is ramen I've had from local joints here in the LA area, but I feel this is just as good, at only a fraction of the price. I originally thought it was a bit expensive, at $16.90 for a 10 pack, but for $1.69 for a bowl of restaurant quality ramen, it's a superb deal. I prepared it using the microwave method with a microwaveable pyrex bowl and poured it into a normal bowl I have for large soups (this prepares a LOT of ramen, so get a big bowl!) and chopped some medium boiled eggs into it. The broth is the real star of the show here, a nice, hearty meal that really helped with some cold symptoms I've been fighting recently, and the noodles are thick and filling, just like those from a restaurant. There aren't too many freeze-dried vegetables in there, but I found the mushrooms and scallions to taste good, the ones that were included. Fresh mushrooms/scallions would be good to add in the future, I imagine, as well as slices of beef. Very, very worth the money; I went ahead and bought another ten pack while they're still at a relatively low price! Easily the king of instant ramen soups, of all the ones I've had, and, while regular Shin is great, this is just on another level. It's not AS spicy, for those expecting some extra spice; you might need to use a bit less water for that, but then the noodles might not cook properly.

Best noodles
As I have had a sinus infection it seems forever I have been eating these noodles it seems more then once a week. Who knew that from a package of noodles you would get such great flavor. As I eat only eat one meal a day (health reason) I have two of the packages and I am very satisfied. The spice helps so much with my sinus infection. No meds seem to help more than a cup of these noodles. They are not too spicy where you can’t eat them but certainly spicy enough that I have a water next to me when eating lol. I can eat a long hot pepper without any issue and these noodles are spicier than the pepper. I just don’t like food when the spice is too hot to enjoy the flavor. They noodles always come perfect not crushed or opened. They will remain a constant in our pantry as my son loves them as well. It is perfect for a quick meal when to tired to cook and tired of ordering out and spending $100 or more for a meal for 3. These truly are the best brand and the only place I have been able to source them with no issues. I have rarely written a review a handful at best but I love these oodles so much I felt compelled lol.

Best ramen
Really good Ramen. Noodles are very good and the spicing is tremendous. A bit on the spicy side but not crazy.

Great, quick, satisfying ramen noodles
Great flavor and very filling. Is it authentic Pho? No. Are the packets outstanding ramen. Definitely! I continue to reorder these as some of the best home cooked, quickly prepared I’ve eaten.

I tried a dozen ramens. This is the best.
I tried twelve different types of ramen recommend by different blogs and those rated highly on Amazon. This is the best of the bunch. Flavor: this has the best flavor of any ramen I tried. It's difficult to describe, but it's just delicious. As I was trying the other brands, I kept coming back to this one. This brand has two flavor/soup base packets and one veggie packet. I mix them all in when I put the noodles in 500ml/16oz boiling water. I poach an egg on top with 45 seconds to go on the boil time, which is 5 minutes total. This gives the meal some protein, extra flavor and creaminess when breaking and mixing the egg yolk after cooking. Portion size: this ramen is the largest of the varieties I tried. There is another Nongshim Shin variety with a red label that is equal in size. That other Nongshim variety is also delicious but is spicier and doesn't have as much veggies. Adding an egg or a pack of frozen veggies makes this a great lunch - holding me till dinner time. Cost: this ramen is more expensive than some, but the per meal cost is manageable for me. You should try this once and see if it's worth the price, but if you like ramen, you must try it. If you tend to doctor up or customize your ramen, you may want to buy a cheaper ramen if you don't intend on using the flavor, soup base and veggie packets. You can also find this brand in some grocery stores for less than the cost on Amazon. My local Walmart often has it. Summary: add to cart, rush to checkout, tell your friends

Best Instant Ramen Ever!
The ramen is the best ramen ever. Love the bone broth. The noodles are firm and the spice level is just right. Although I rate it 5 stars for the product, note to seller on shipping. It comes in two four packs and then two additional packages, all wrapped in plastic. The problem is the two packs not in the four packs were somewhat crushed in shipment (still edible, just in small pieces).

Superior instant ramen.
I understand why this product is so highly-rated among instant ramens! It's great: the right level of heat and umami, with springy noodles.

This one is very tasty ,the best i've had. A little spicy but not too much. And the price here is way cheaper than in even an asian supermarket.

Has to be the best ramen i eat on a regular basis, the price is low for the quality of the ramens, it is your typical flour base noodles but the broth is just so good, i reorder them every 2 to 3 month

Love Shin Black noodles, but didn't come in the carboard sleeve, rather just bundled to getter in a plastic wrap. This had the unfortunate side effect of crushing the noodles in a coupe of them, which was a little disapointing.

I love this chicken flavored spicey ramen! Great to mix with mozarella cheese and a protein for more flavour and nutrients!

First of all - BEST instant ramen ever. I've tried over 70 brands from in-city Asian stores, across the last five years. This one is the closest to "restaurant style" broth, and there is something about how it 'thickens' to a real soupy density - not just "spicy colored water". If you're ambitious, add some eggs and meat. You'll never do take-out again. Premium! Second of all - The price on this 10-pack has skyrocketed lately. Gone up almost 20 bucks since the last time I ordered. So I'm going to knock down the Value star rating. Hopefully this is only temporary. Are there still supply chain issues? TO THOSE SAYING YOU CAN GET IT "CHEAPER AT WAL MART" or whatever: No, you can't. The "Shin" series is NOT the same as the "Shin BLACK" series. Frankly, the cheap Shin series burns my mouth off. I enjoy spicy ramen, but I don't enjoy hotsauce-challenge levels of heat that are ridiculous. "Shin BLACK" has always been one of the most expensive instant ramen. Even at all the Asian stores here. Usually double $$ what most packs are, of any brand. But you get what you pay for.
