First of all, the item is made to look deceptively similar to the actual Siemens product. Now, when purchasing this product, I knew I wasn't getting Siemens brand. But I expected it to work. Sadly, when I plugged it into the USB port of my PC, & the other end into an S7-1200 PLC with PROFIBUS module, TIA Portal V13 gave me an error: "Problem communicating with adapter". Reaching out to the manufacturer, Amsamotion, they couldn't help me because I didn't buy it from their store directly. Absolute garbage. Came with NO instructions. Straight-up doesn't work. Incredibly frustrating.

I tried the cable with multiple versions of step 7 and tia portal but could not connect to S7 plc. Keeps giving an error. Also in win 7 as well as win 10.
