Vision Cross My Heart

I have had this book sitting unfound in my Kindle since 2013, I re-read the reviews and wondered why I had bought it, but decided to read it as I had recently bought Hope To Die and realised I needed to read this first as they are part 1 and part 2 of the same story. I enjoyed it all, and still cannot understand the negative reviews of the book. It moved a long a great pace, there was plenty happening. His family is growing up without him being able to give them much time as he is very busy, but this is the lot of detective families in the USA if you are to believe the writers.If I am to make a small criticism, it is that Nanna Mamma is becoming a bit unbelievable. But this is fiction and we would love to be this active at 90+ Read it and enjoy.It is very dark

I love this author's style of writing. The whole Alex Cross series has gripped me from start to finish. Cant wait for next book. I read them all.

I have just finished reading this book and feel conned. I've loved his other books but this one just left me disappointed, even angry. The story trundles along nicely enough, a bit predictable but alright, but then you get to the end, or rather you don't. It just stops and you then get an advert and an extract from the next book in the series. Such a shame!Please don't buy this book expecting a complete and satisfying reading experience. Has it put me off getting more Alex Cross/James Patterson books? Quite possibly.A good lesson though in why you should read the Amazon customer reviews before clicking to purchase.

i have been an avid reader of all james patterson books ,really eagerly await the next cross book ,again a very well written book which keeps me on the edge of my seat and cant put it down ,but i was thoroughly gutted at the ending infact i thought my book must of had pages missing i read and re read the last page to make sure what i had read then i flicked ahead incase i had somehow mis turned pages then i went back a couple and read it again then forward ,we dont need to be kept in suspense for a year to find out what happens to alex cross family ,i personally would buy his books i feel the ending has been cut short as if it just isnt finished correctly ,i am very dissapointed in this as this is the first time a book from james patterson has ended tihs way in my opinion,

hard to put down when you start reading it
