It works good enough. You need to use it at least twice on each hole because it doesn’t fully do it the first time. But overall it does the job. Good price

Punch works very well , even on thick leather . Good price too .

This hole punch is cheap but it does work if you jump through a hoop or two to work around the cheap design. It requires backing material such as cardboard so the punch can press through the leather before it reaches the brass striker plate. If you do this and squeeze pretty hard it works.The "locking latch" is unusuable though. It swings freely when not in use and the slightest pressure on the handle and it pops free as well allowing the tool to fully open. To engage it, you also have to turn the punch dial 1/2 way between sizes or you won't be able to close the tool enough to engage but since it pops open so easily, you can probably just ignore it anyways.Now, the biggest problem I have is receiving a used product when listed as new. Not refurbished. Used. The box was opened and taped shut at least once (most likely more times) and there were signs of use on the tool. I didn't have high expectations from a cheap tool but did expect a new one as per the description. All pictures taken before I used it.

Worked great, super easy to use

I was able to make it work, but when it arrived it was covered in dirt and grease and the box inside the amazon package was badly torn.
