Good product, basic features easy to use
I used this product to automate YouTube broadcasting for a faith based organization. The products basic feature work well. The device itself runs a little hot. But I put it on a laptop cooler to keep thermals better controlled. It’s in a network closet with poor environmental controls so I don’t want it to overheat. My main goal with the he cooler is to increase its life span. The more advanced features leave much to be desired. It does have an API but it uses UDP and it’s own cryptic remote command structure. It could definitely use a REST API upgrade. The little box is loaded with cool features. But the documentation is lacking. Especially with the API. That said, it provides enough to figure it out. I had to use Wireshark to get some of the undocumented commands like get the active input. I don’t use the T-bar so I’m glad it lets you disable it. The remote app XPOSEmini works. But many users report that it loses connection during app switching. I personally have never had any issues running on my iPad. Closing the app and reopening it brings it back online. The price feature ratio is the best I have found so far. Full automation at the price point is amazing.

Great for switching between for HMDI inputs with sync.
Positive - great bang for your money at $299.00; switches (cuts) with sync between four HMDI inputs. Also has a good range of special effects. Unit more than meets my needs or expectations. Negative - user manual limited, as well as good on-line tutorial. However, you can work out how to use the various functions with a bit of experimenting and insight.

Excellent Solution, Except...
I bought this to use as a live switcher for outdoor drive-in movies. For the most part, it worked great, and I really appreciate the built-in video monitor. The two problems I had with it were: 1. While the video crossfade is nice and clean, the audio crossfade is not. Instead, the audio from the second program cuts in abruptly the second you release the t-bar. This is not acceptable for the kind of public performance I'd be using it for. 2. The HEAT! Whoaaaa, THE HEAT!!!!! This baby gets really hot after just a few minutes. I wouldn't trust it for live switching, especially not on a hot summer night. I've been told that the next incarnation of this product will have an onboard cooling fan. If you can deal with the negatives above, you will probably like this unit, which is one of the only ones still ahead of HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Copy Protection) technology, which means it will allow commercial DVD program material to pass through it. The ATEM Mini and others like it will NOT.

The HDMI output can be changed to show program instead of the preview.
Works well. Runs hot so I power it off when not using it. I am not using the USB interface, the HDMI output can be switched between preview and program. I have an elgato HD60 hdmi interface that I use for encoding and the HDMI output drives it fine.

Runs way too hot! Keep adequately ventilated
A simple power button would be nice, $300 and change, no power button?. This unit runs fare too hot at any price, I mean this things cooking!. I'm worried about it's longevity because of that. I'm no professional but it works well enough. $300 is a bit much for this unit. The video effects this thing has, technology wise, existed in the 80s and 90s, commercial and mass production use of course. I bought this, to use as a through device, for recording, fading, switching e.t.c from one unit to another. I probably won't ever use it for live streaming. SIDE NOTE: I have not done the one test that's most important to me, the refresh signal. when recording to a digital device, like a DigitNow HD video recorder, as an example. Ever try to go from VHS to a digital video recorder?. well, a lot of VCR's do not out put a solid video signal. the refresh rate can be unstable, causing video capture problems, a video stabilizer may be needed. Even if it's digital to digital, One interruption with the signal and you guessed it. Most of these digital video recorders stop recording automatically, the output refresh rate must be constant when recording digital video. Sometimes even a ground-fault issue between power supplies and devices, and through the cables and connectors. static, etc can be a problem.

considerando el coto y las herramientas que brinda, para mi es realmente funcional. Sobre todo para los que podemos invertir de a poco. Si usas tu creatividad, puedes sacar mas provecho del que se anuncia. Una buena adquisición este pequeño equipo.
