Not a pelican contender yet. Case is decent. Foam is garbage.
The case itself is great, sturdy, looks and feels as good as any pelican other than the top is a little weaker without the horizontal ridge braces... but the pick-a-part foam is absolute garbage. I had to cut it with an electric knife. The serrations on both pieces of foam were barely deep enough to see let alone function. I have several cases by pelican with the same foam and have never seen anything like this. Even the density is lower. For the up charge I might as well have gone to a flower shop dumpster it would have been better quality. Pelican foam is top notch, Nanuk needs to seriously up their game.
