a great non sugar sweetener
I have NEVER been able to abide the usual artificial sweeteners, they always taste terrible and left a really bad after taste. XYLITOL does NOT have these problems, it sweetens stuff very well, and leaves no aftertaste. I can be used like sugar at a 1 to 1 ration..

perfect for canning without sugar
I know about the health risks of xylitol, but. it works great for canning anything that requires sugar 1:1, melts great and taste is same in the end product. save a little and use subscribe and save.

Xylitol - a wonderful addition to my low carb lifestyle!
So you can easily read about how this is non GMO, not derived from corn (which is often GMO) & really good for you but how does it taste right? I've tried stevia (currently working on another brand of stevia because to me it's bitter), monkfruit (my fav), coconut sugar (amazing but raises my blood sugar too high & kicks me out of ketosis), honey (so delish but way too high in carbs/raises my blood sugar), agave (so tasty but is as bad as sugar in your bloodstream in that it raises your blood sugar), molasses (also delish but again too high in carbs/raises your blood sugar) & maple syrup (love love love but just no to carbs/raises blood sugar) & last but not least erythritol (good in that it does not raise your blood sugar, not so great (for me) in taste). There are other sugar substitutes out there but that will have to do for now. I made muffins with these yesterday (see pics) they were absolutely delicious! I used a 1/2 cup of xylitol and these zucchini/coconut/pecan muffins tasted like zucchini bread - not too sweet but definitely not like just regular bread. I made 12 and had 3 yesterday, I left some on the counter & my Mom ate 4 today! I think if you're looking to keep your carbs low, find out which sugar substitute is best/right for you - which one do you like the best? Yes, you may have to spend a few bucks (like me) to find the "right one" but personally? I have decided for now to stick with stevia, monkfruit and xylitol. I got a 1 lb of this xylitol for $15 on Amazon Prime & I've had it for 10 days & it's lasting (even when using it baking & a teaspoon a day in my tea). I would also suggest you research the benefits of each sugar substitute. Long gone are the days (I HOPE) where we just blatantly accepted what we were told by the food/drug industry. Google before you buy. I also watch a lot of youtube video's on products and read tons of reviews on Amazon here. That's partly why I do these reviews because I want to help/inform people but ultimately? It's YOUR decision. Happy substitute sugar hunting!

Better than most.
Have been using xylitol for 20 years in lieu of sugar. I like this product better than others as it more closely resembles sugar granules vs powdered sugar and can be substituted 1 for 1. I only purchase USA made from birch trees vs some foreign products that are made from corn. Although this is expensive vs sugar, the benefits are well worth the money and I have recommended this brand to my friends.

Hole in bag, Sugar everywhere
This is a really great sugar substitute for me personally. It's good for dental health, tastes good, and carries few digestive issues, even with the quantity I use. I have ordered two other bags without issue. However, this third bag had a hole in it likely from a cutter in the warehouse where it was packaged to be shipped from Amazon. I could not return or exchange it.

Excellent replacement for sugar
We use this on a regular basis to replace sugar. Make sure it is from birch trees and made in America, not corn from China. My husband, Bless his soul, started us with this years ago.

Tastes like regular sugar but seems not as sweet which I like. I’ve been using Xylitol for years and appreciate it protects your teeth.
