we still use a 20+ year old Brother label maker, finding these refills locally is not easy. these are 100% fit and work great. the cost over local if you can find them is so much better from Amazon

Only wish they would make a print that is more permanent ink so it is sunproof and waterproof. I need to replace my labels often because the print wears off.

Label maker refills appear to be high quality and actually easier to use than the factory original, because the back paper that you remove from the label is split lengthwise making it easier to remove.

Pros: Inexpensive. Cons: Cheap.Seriously, compared to the Brother tape cartridges: the print is not as dark and a little fuzzy, the tape is much thinner, the surface is not glossy, the adhesive is not as strong. I think I am happy enough with this cheaper tape for my purposes. I'll go with genuine Brother tape for my other label maker at the office.I have no problem peeling the backing off.

LOVE this tape! SO much better than the original Brother put out for their label machines. The original had impossible-to-peel-off backing. This tape's backing is split in the middle for MUCH easier removal. We use a lot of it in my office.
