Works well for it's intended purpose. Quite sure it can be used for other purposes if you have an active imagination. (I'm a DIYer) For it's intended purpose, to stabilize and keep the bottom of sliding doors from swinging, keep in mind that it's meant to be mounted to a vertical surface. I used mine for sliding burglar bars to keep it from scratching the wall when it slides and hold the bottom secure when the burglar bars are locked closed. Worked perfectly. The outside portion of the rollers are a hard plastic type of material which I wasn't sure they'd work well with the steel of the bars but, it did and it nearly eliminated the noise of the bars sliding through. Besides it's strength I really liked that it has steel bearings inside at the top and bottom of the length of the roller. I'll definitely buy it (them) again when the need arises.

I'm very happy with this addition. I had a plastic guide before and it just didn't have the strength to do the job. This is sturdy, strong, easily installed and adjusted. It has roller bearings and works very well.If you're looking for a good, Strong, easily installed guide, this is it.I would recommend.

Very well made and compared to the original plastic piece would be a joke! The door is now sturdy and smooth.
