I've several of these in different sizes now. Never had any problems with the zips or the fabric. Great for storing away out of season or less used items, in my case clothing. Recommended.

This bag is huge I put 2 king duvets in 2 pillows and loads of bedding/throws in and still not full. The only downside is sucking the air out, after trial an error we found the quickest way was to hold the bag away from the stuff in the bag.

A really low quality good item supported by appalling customer service from Lakeland. We had been unable to remove most of the air once the duvets had been sealed inside the bag as the suction caused the valve to attach itself to the duvets inside the bag (there is no grille around the back of the valve to stop items inside from attaching themselves to it). When the valve is moved, it sucked on the plastic bag itself. This meant we were unable to remove most of the air from the sealed compartment. I called the Amazon Lakeland storefront telephone number and spoke to the first customer service advisor. The extremely rude lady told me: 'Your item is faulty. You bought it from the Amazon platform. We have nothing to do with Amazon. We don't manufacture anything ourselves. Return it to Amazon. I've worked here for 30 years and I know what I'm talking about.' I explained that I wanted technical advice and didn't think the item was faulty but a design issue and I wanted to know whether it could be fixed, but her response was, 'I have other calls on the line so I can't discuss this. It's faulty' I called again and spoke to a more helpful man, who told me to message Lakeland via the Amazon account. Why put a phone number on the Lakeland storefront if the customer service team deny all responsibility when there is an issue with the item? The bag itself has cheap zips so I wonder how long it will last. There may be better quality items out there for £30. I will update if I hear from Lakeland's Amazon team. Update: Lakeland, via their Amazon storefront, asked me to send it back to Amazon and apologised for rude manner of their customer service. Even if it had worked, the quality of its materials means it would have been worth a third of what I paid.

Brilliant, worth buying!

I purchased this to store little-used super king sized goose feather mattress topper and a double size of the same plus some curtains and pillows.Tip: Put the vacuum pack inside the tote bag and pack. I didn't and found wrestling it into the bag exhausting. With the air removed the pack became a dead weight.Tip: be patient. It took quite a while for the bag to shrink. At one point it was much larger than the tote bag and I thought all the air was out. I kept on with the hoover and it did indeed shrink down to fit.The handles don't feel that strong so be warned if you need to drag it to its storage location.Overall though it does what I need it to do.
