This is not holding properly and it's very complicated to attach.

My setup is a little different than his, my Calin stand (very similar to a Lowery stand but made in Turkey) is not placed over the arm of my couch but in front of it. Putting the iPad on top of the stand didn't work for me, rather, I put mine down the midway point on the stand and it works like a dream! No more getting neck kinks or constantly having to turn my head to look at my patterns. It's not a very heavy mount but sturdy and well made. The clamp is metal but the part that holds the iPad is sturdy plastic and thus, doesn't add additional weight to make the holder slip nor should it scratch up your iPad. I didn't have any issue with the clamp slipping on my stand, it seems pretty secure as the knob ends have some sort of rubbery covers that hold the clamp to the stand. However if you feel uneasy, it's always a good idea just to take it off when you are done stitching (especially if you have little humans or pets around the house). Mine holds the iPad in it's thin case (the one with the foldable cover that folds into a stand but also has a pen holder so I can keep my pen handy when marking up my pattern on GoodNotes), but any thicker and you probably will have to take the case off. All in all - such a great product for music folk but now, also for cross stitchers/needleworkers!

Le produit soutient bien un iPad mini (juste), mais va être appelé à soutenir une dalle LCD de 13" (400gr) et il pourra le faire. Le suport est esthétique et peut se combiner avec d'autres suports sur le même trepied, fait en matériel plastique ABS et avec le suport principal en fer, les ecrous et viss ont en metal. Tout consistant, et faciles à manipuler dans 4 directions. Il m'est arrivé avec 2 jeux de cornières en V, petites et grands, pour avoir plus de marge. Notez que les cornières sont faites en une seule pièce en plastique sans caoutchouc et ces écrous en métal n'est sont pas 1/4 20 (e typique des supports caméras). Content du produit,

予想以上に良かった! まず、iPad Pro 12.9インチに取付ができた事。マイクスタンドには、マイクホルダーを外して直接取り付ける事ができます。角度も自由に変えられます。この部分は三脚用のネジサイズではなくてマイクホルダー用のネジサイズなので、カメラ用の三脚に取り付ける時は別途コンバータの購入が必要になります。 もちろん、付属のクリップを使用してマイクスタンドや三脚に取り付けるならコンバータは不要です。 譜面台の支柱にクリップで固定して使用する場合ですが、アルミ製の軽量タイプの譜面台はぐいぐい締めるとへんこでしまう恐れがあるので注意した方が良いです。 見た目も割と高級感があって、ステージでも違和感無いと思います。構造はかなり丈夫です。ただ、マイクホルダー用の固定ネジがプラ製なので無理な付け外しを繰り返すとネジ山がつぶれると思います。注意すれば防げるし価格も安いので気にするほどではないです。 以外と良かったのがデッサンなどのイーゼルとして使える事です。 コスパ最高の製品でした。 参考までに、iPadのカバーはヘビータイプのものは厚みがあるので無理でしたが、薄めのものはOKでした。
