Q: Are these ptfe & pfoa free? i need to know if they are bird safe

PFOA and PTFE free-it is safe for birds.

Q: Can high heat be used with this saucepan? I purchased the pan which is only suitable for low-medium heat.

I have put my Gotham steel fryer into the oven at excess to 375. The biggest problem is the handle. The handle gets so hot that it’s easy to get burned. But I love the clean up and the way this pan cooks evenly.

I love the pot not cleaning just wipe out .

Q: are the bottoms flat?

Yes, the bottoms are flat. However, the nonstick surface wears put quickly. I would not by this set again. I have had a comlette set for a year and I am ready to replace.
