I had dandruff all my life and after a while head and shoulders no longer worked. I was getting scab like large flakes that would cause me to bleed at times. I went to the dermatologist several times and tried their different methods but they were not working as not only is my scalp dry but my actual hair gets greasy really easily. So I would fight to find something good that not only would grease up my curls but moisturize my scalp. It seems like I got the "new formula/bottle" of this shampoo. Within the first week I noticed a drastic change in my scalp and since then have not had any issues unless it was dead of winter. I do not wash my hair every time with this shampoo and skip a wash every other shower and seem to find this works best for my roots not getting greasy. However, the shaft of my curls are naturally dry and this shampoo will definitely dry them more. I have to use another cleanser when I wash my hair fully for the tips of my hair. Even with this process, it's still worth the purchase to only use this shampoo on my scalp. Smells like older men's shampoo, almost like natural ingredients. I have not found the scent to last after my hair dries.

I really actually like this product. I’ve been living with intense dandruff about all of my life and the first wash with this I didn’t even see any flakes on my head. I really suggest this product but keep in mind not to wash with it everyday. I use this about 4 times a week and on the side use a moisturizing shampoo. The bottle kind of looks like a dog shampoo bottle but that’s okay. ALSO this shampoo smells so identical to vapor rub (I think that’s what it’s called the stuff you use on your chest when you’re sick) it’s not noticeable by other people from my experience but if you do not like the smell keep it in mind. Another thing I want to add make sure your head is really wet before your scrub this on your scalp, if not the product will not bubble up and you’ll keep having to add more. I hope your guy’s experiences are as good as mine!!

It works! It has a strong smell as any other dandruff shampoo but it works great.

If you have dandruff. Jason WILL bring you relief. If you have a build up , Jason WILL solve that problem. A few years ago I stumbled upon Jason after having really bad dandruff for months and other conditions we didn’t work…or I wasn’t doing something right. But I got this product and tried it and immediately after using the itchiness went away. I haven’t had that intense dandruff since and that was a few years ago. I use this every since for my shampoo or even the one that has both shampoo and conditioner in one. The smell is a bit medicinal, but in a good way. I feel like it’s a great value for the money. I have purchased this over 15x over the years so that should tell you something. As a matter a fact, I’m buying another one today.

Where everything I have tried previously failed to perform, this product gets it done. No more dandruff. However, the substance itself does not suds up too much so you just have to be a little more aware of where you're applying it to ensure full coverage. It also does not dry out my hair like many other shampoos, so I stopped using conditioner. So for some with more oil prone hair, you may need to wash hair more often throughout the week than before.
