Japanese Woodblock Prints: Artists, Publishers and Masterworks: 1680 - 1900

Wanted this book for months and finally decided to buy it and i'm not disappointed at all! The pictures are beautiful and we have simple but good explanation on what's a woodprint. We have a good list of artists too :)

We recently purchased some original Japanese WoodBlock prints. I wanted to know the history and story behind the prints so I ordered the book. Great info!!

I wanted something more than just a simple Coffee table book.This book has extensive information about most of the japanes artist who did woodut prints it also provides some inside about the printing shops. It is one of the best dictionaries for japanes woodcut prints.Though twice as expensive as the Taschen Book from the same Author this book is more serious and a great addition for any collector.
