Wash & Dye Fabric Dye for Clothes & Soft Furnishings - Intense Black/Velvet

I have a discoloured chair cushion cover, and I hate the look of it. I bought this product to bring the colour back to life, and it worked like a charm. Very happy with the result.

Didn’t work on my clothes

The application process was so straightforward. You just put it in the washing machine like a regular wash, and let it do it's thing. The dye effectively revitalised my faded black garments to a rich, intense shade. I even managed to dye a white dress jet black, and it came out perfectly! For those seeking a super simple to use product that delivers a proper, lasting black, this dye is definitely a worthwhile option. Consistent coverage, intense black, and just put it on a wash cycle to apply. I love it! I've included a photo of the dress in question, with how it looked before on the bottom left of the photo.

Works as intended

I will make this review as short as possible, while still telling you all that you need to know. I tried to get good pictures... I tried. But it was too hard since the product is of black color. Based on effort (dyeing, drying, cleaning), end result and product price, I give this 5/5 stars. It was easy to do. Just make sure that you are careful with the dye and read through the instructions. As an extra step to ensure a good result, I did stop my washing machine after an hour and drained the dyed water, just to let the clothes soak in the remaining dye overnight. But it may not be necessary. The result is perfect! It looks like it has always been black. As if I just purchased it from the store. And the price is the lowest that I could find, which just makes this product so good. Do note that one package of this dye is only enough for one pair of jeans if you want the deepest color possible. Should you dye fabric equivalent of two pairs of jeans, it will still work, but the color will be lighter. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
