Absolutely Love It – A Real Waffle Maker
I already own the Cuisinart Griddler Five (GR-5BP1), which offers a separate waffle plate—but let me tell you, the quality difference between that and this dedicated waffle maker is night and day. This waffle maker delivers thick, crispy, golden-brown waffles every time. One batch makes four small waffles, and I usually enjoy two with fresh fruit for a perfect weekend brunch. On setting level 3+, the waffles turn out beautifully—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside (though this can vary slightly depending on your mix and personal preference). Want them even crispier? I simply turn off the power and leave the lid closed a bit longer—works like magic. The non-stick coating is excellent. Nothing sticks, and cleanup is a breeze. If you want to go a step further, the plates pop right out and are dishwasher safe—totally hassle-free. Compared to the Griddler’s waffle plate, this feels like a real waffle maker—superior heat distribution, texture, and overall performance. It’s become a weekend ritual with coffee at home, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Love it. Love it. Love it.

Great Waffles maker and other stuff too
I love this thing. It beeps when ready, pour the batter in and wait for another beep and perfectly done waffles. I generally twist the power switch so its horizontal to the counter, sorry I don't remember the numbers I think its between 3 and 4. I've found that it is any higher the waffles are either over done or burnt. Because of the non-stick surface the waffles come out easily, no mess, no fuss. I've been using the Krusteaz belgian waffle mix and its perfect every time. The heating plates are removable and have forms for tiny pancakes 2" maybe? I used it to make a quesadilla and it was ok. it would be better if there were waffle heating plates and then flat heating plates. Its Super easy to clean and it stands up when not using so easy to store or not take up much counter space. I would recommend this to anyone.

Easy to use and clean!
So convenient with the removable plates that can then easily be washed. Easy to use... no fancy options, which is fine with me. Have used it thre times, and it prepares pancakes and waffles nicely. I can't speak to longevity yet as I have only owned it a short time.

Cuisinart WAF-300 is a great breakfast tool
Summary: Great unit, even heating and rapid output of Waffles or Pancakes. My rating of this unit is 4.5 stars if it were possible. I'm always a fan of Cuisinart as they deliver top quality units and seem to thoroughly think things out for each product. The cons (what everyone looks for) The reason for the knock of 1/2 star is due to the heating and how it's managed. The issue is that since the heater is not bonded to the plates there's an inherit issue of overheating on warm-up. What this means is if you know you like level 3.5 and set it to that to initial-heat it will overshoot significantly and get way too hot (past max level). This is due to residual heat that builds up in the heating elements which is significant after a long initial heat-up cycle. My second use of this went badly at first because the first waffle-output was overly cooked. *Workaround* There is, however, a very easy solution. Set the dial to 1, let it heat up normally and wait an extra minute. That puts it at just about 3.5 (my personal preference) and cooks properly for that first one and after. The good: *Multi-purpose. You can do Belgian Waffles (large cavities if you've never experienced this) and 4 Pancakes. *The heating and cooking works quite well, everything is even and if you follow directions (coat with oil/etc) it will come right off. If not, waffles will stick and be an extreme pain to remove. *The pancakes (used multiple times) works very well without any spray/oil. The catch is that you must fill the cavity completely with batter or the whole thing will not cook enough. It depends on the batter rising and hitting the top plate to cook the other half. *Notification: Unlike others, this one beeps loud enough when the cooking is done. A very nice addition which allows me to do other things. Perhaps others do this, but my last one didn't. *Cleaning: Dishwasher! This is the main reason why I got this over a fixed/bonded unit. No problem yet, but this is a young unit. I do worry about plates clashing in the dishwasher so they do soak up a lot of room due to separation from everything else. *Plate insert/removal: Very, very, very easy. Push a button on the side and done. Each one is "keyed" so it only goes in the top or bottom. As a FYI, I've been using Bisquick.

WONDER WAFFLES! WOW!!!
AT LAST... a wonderful waffle maker that makes waffle making a JOY! Having just returned home from Maine Maple Weekend, we decided to buy a new waffle maker. Our old waffle maker did not have removeable plates and after several years of steady use, it had not aged well. After a lot of research, we decided to purchase this Cuisinart model because our experience with Cuisinart appliances has always been great. This waffle maker is excellent! What a difference! -The non-stick plates release the waffles every time with ease (no more scraping up stuck-on waffles in a hot waffle iron!). -The indicator light lets you know when the waffles are done (no more guesswork!). -Adjustable temperature setting (we use setting #3, perfect waffles EVERY TIME). -The interchangeable plates come off instantly with just the push of a button. -The plates are easy to clean and dishwasher safe. -The handle does not get hot. -The exterior is easy to wipe clean. -No more overflowing, spilled, burnt mess! We have used the waffle maker several times since we purchased it and it has not overflowed! It makes 4 Belgian waffles at one time (time saver!) and the controls are easy to use. This is, easily, the BEST waffle maker we have ever owned! It's the quality you expect from Cuisinart at a fair price. We love it so much we're going to buy a few more to give as Christmas gifts (along with bottles of Maine maple syrup, of course)!

Es la mejor wafflera que existe! He utilizado muchas waffleras pero sin duda está es la mejor, tarda 3min, los waffles son grandes y los puedes hacer con cualquier mezcla y te van a salir perfectos.

We love this waffle maker. It makes great waffles and we love the fact that the waffle maker plates are removable and can be clean easily in the dishwasher. Great product!

Like many other reviewers, we chose this model because the plates came out for cleaning. That feature is fantastic. Only downside, and it's big one, is that this is a relatively low-wattage device, meaning that it takes a VERY long time to cook waffles or pancakes to where we like them--nice a golden crisp. Like 10 minutes. It also takes at LEAST that long to warm up. Beware: Start cooking early!
