Looks really good! Really nice design, brushed stainless, good quality build, toasts well and really fast! No finger marks! Looked for a while for the 'perfect toaster', bought a Breville 2-Slice Toaster first ('Perfect for Warburtons)', awful, cheap, hated it, sent it back, don't get that one despite it being a best seller! This Russell Hobbs is far superior!! We love it, and I'm really fussy! ;)

Not a lot to say really. A very capable toaster. Looks nice and matches out kettle. Good size for two slices and easy to operate and store. All in all very happy and would recommend if you are looking for a stainless steel look toaster.

Our toaster is currently 5 years old and going strong. It was purchased to replace one exactly the same brand/ model which started to throw a wobbler in 2019 (after in use for similar length of time) but then went on to redeem itself for a further full year before it finally gave up on us. We chose at the time to reorder the same brand/model due to the longevity of the first one and was nervous at trying a different brand/model after reading hundreds of negative reviews where some types were failing after a short time. We use this toaster for toasting both bread and crumpets. It has wide slots and the bread we use never gets stuck. However, well known W-burtons brand of crumpets do occasionally get stuck a bit at the top and need flicking out. This is not the toasters fault as crumpets in the pack are uneven and never seem to be the same depth!). We buy a well known W-burtons protein seeded loaf (large thicker slices) and also H-vis range of seeded breads all of which fit in the slots without having to cut anything off or have untoasted bits sticking out. All bread toasts perfectly well on our chosen setting at one flip-up. However, for crumpets we turn them once at flip-up point for a further cycle as they take longer to toast - doing it this way means we can use the same setting for perfect toasting of everthing. As far as toasting goes we are really happy with the performance of this toaster. It has never burned anything or under-browned anything. A nice looking toaster that looks great on the worktop and for a 4-slice toaster doesnt take up too much room. Positive functionality - this toaster is sound, is weighty and appears well made. The front bottom edge lights blue when in use, matching our kettle from the same Buckingham range. The 2 crumb trays are at the rear and pull out completely to empty. Rest of crumbs internally come out with a gentle shake. We've never timed how long it takes to toast bread, but don't believe the length of time is excessive. Great that you can use 2 of the slots independently. There is plenty of cable length to reach our wall sockets. Not necessarily a negative (as this not uncommon and happens with all toaster types due to build) the 2 browning setting dials can often move as you clean around them and you particularly need to watch on your first toast after cleaning that you haven't accidentally moved the dials which may slightly under toast over-burn your toast. As this toaster is stainless steel (both brushed and shiny) it can get a few finger marks and smudges and may need cleaning more often than a plastic walled toaster. As a heating appliance it naturally can get a little hot on the exterior walls. Considering we have been using this toaster for 5 years, a lot of that time twice a day, I'd say that this toaster is good value for money for a mid range product. When our toaster requires replacing again in the future, we'd likely take the safe option and buy this model again for a 3rd time as well as the matching kettle.

As toasters go, this one is okay. Style-wise, it's well funky and the blue lights are cool. However, for doing the job it was bought for, it's not wonderful. We checked the dimensions of this model against our old toaster before purchasing and found them to be the same size. Unfortunately the toasting slots are not - these are smaller and about a third of the bread slice sticks up above the slot. Our previous model had less exposed bread during cooking. The item also boasts speedier toasting - well, not really. It pops quicker than our previous model when on the same cooking level but then needs to go back down for a second round. We've upped the cooking level to a higher number than we've used before and this now produces cooked items on the first pop but within the same time limit as the old model. So not really speedy at all! Finally, the toaster itself is rather light and flimsy feeling. If you push both buttons down at the same time, it has a tendency to tilt forward which could be an issue for some users.
