The Urth Norite 24L Modular Camera & Laptop Travel Backpack has exceeded my expectations in both functionality and design. Its modular compartments provide ample space for my camera gear, laptop, and personal items, making it incredibly versatile for various needs. The build quality is outstanding, with durable materials that offer excellent protection for my equipment. The backpack is comfortable to wear, even during long trips, thanks to its ergonomic design and padded straps. I appreciate the thoughtful features, such as the quick-access side pockets and weather-resistant zippers, which add to the overall convenience. Whether I’m on a photography assignment or a casual day out, this backpack has become an essential part of my gear. Overall, the Urth Norite 24L Backpack combines style, durability, and practicality, making it a top choice for anyone in need of a reliable travel companion.

I don’t regret paying $200 for this bag. It’s well crafted and has a modern aesthetic without costing $500 + which is easily achievable now days.

First of all, the product description indicated that the camera cube was included with this this bag, which is the main reason I ordered it... so don't be misled. As far as the bag goes, it's nice enough. My 16" MacBook Pro fits into the laptop sleeve so no issue there. There are lots of pockets - too many really. It's almost as if they wanted to see how many zippers they could hide. I'm not sure what purpose most of the little hidden nooks and crannies would serve, at least for me. The shoulder straps are a bit uncomfortable with a moderate load in the pack. The main compartment is roomy and can be accessed from either side or the top. This compartment is where the (missing) camera cube would reside. After seeing the bag in person, I'd be surprised if the cube would accommodate anything more than a small mirrorless and a small prime or two. Bottom line is this: You can buy a much better bag for half the price. They're pitching this product purely from an environmental standpoint, real or not. At $180 USD, it's a terrible value.

The greatest bag took it to my first film production and it rocked!

I loved the material that they are using for the backpacks but there’s a couple things that need improvement for a bag at this price point. Waterproof zips or at least a flap that covers the main zipper. Reinforced edges on the zipper the side entry zippers, i saw a thread pulling apart at the top edge when i was exploring the bag and it made me a little weary of its longevity at 180 dollars. I loved the fact that this could be used as a camera bag and it would be nice if they had include at least a little Velcro or latch to accommodate camera cubes and not having it jostle around while inside the bag. Since the bag isn’t rigid or structured maybe a strap/latch/magnet to secure a smaller laptop or tablet from sliding out. Due to different body types this might not affect you but the straps dug into the sides of my neck and it was not soft, the bag was brand new so maybe it needed time to break in. I liked the layout of pockets and storage and the use of space. So ill be waiting for the next iteration of this bag because i think it can become a really awesome sustainable bag option.

Perhaps this makes more sense if you are getting the additional camera storage system, but if you are just getting this bag to use as a backpack - there are much better options out there for significantly less. This bag is not at all structured, aside for a rigid back. However the rest of it is made out of a very thin material lacking any padding or other real protection. I would look carefully before purchasing to see if this is really what you are looking for.

結論、これから先もずっと使い続けたいと思えるリュックだった。 以前、We○leyのリュック(17L)を使っていた。外見のシンプルさは好みだったが、内部収納容量が少ない、肩紐のクリップ式ストッパーのごちゃごちゃ具合、内部色(金黄色)が気に入ってなかった。 一方、Urthの本商品はカジュアル/ビジネスでも使いやすい容量で、内部の色も落ち着きのあるグレーで良い。見た目もシンプルでミニマリスト嗜好の自分にとっては最高のデザインだった。 購入前は肩紐が緩いというレビューを見て不安だった。ところが実際に使用して確かめたところ、確かに重たいものを入れると肩紐が緩み易いと感じたが、気になれば簡単に調整可能であり、常にスルスル解ける感覚は無かった。 リピもしたいので売り続けて欲しい(^^) 【追記】 最近は肩紐が緩むのを防ぐために「黒色安全ピン」を使用して固定しています。ストレスフリーです！

Flawless

This was a gift and the very best gift!! I absolutely love the colour, the pockets, the side Zips into the bag for use with the available inserts and the fact that it comes with straps to attach a tripod. I’ve since purchased other products from Urth and they are all perfect for the job.

ベージュ購入。ビジネス利用。デザインがいい。OFFも使える。 欠点は重いところ。まだ目一杯に詰めていないので何とも言えないがビジネス利用には仕切りが多すぎる。というのは仕切りの数だけ布を使うので、それだけで重くなっていく。カラの状態でも結構な重量がある。 まあカメラ用のリュックだから仕切りも丈夫に作る必要があったのかな。ビジネス一般には仕切りはここまで厚くなくてもいいと思う。グレーと迷ったが些細な擦れ傷に弱そうなのでベージュを選択。てっぺんに小さなファスナー収納があるけど意外に便利。
