MagnaFlow Exhaust Products 12215 Muffler

Great muffler, I put this on my Nissan Xterra 4.0 V6 and it was exactly what I was looking for in pretty much every regard. It sounds great when you step on the gas, but no drone on the freeway, it has a nice tone to it but not an overly loud cold start that bothers the neighbors. It sounds good and has a nice volume but is not overly loud at all. Also great performance, being a straight through muffler it flows really well. Installation was easy and straight forward, and the build quality was great. I’d definitely recommend it.

I put a factory dual exhaust system from a ford interceptor on a 2009 Mercury Marquis, which all come stock with single exhaust. I wanted a nice sounding muffler but no crappy drone on the highway, I'm not 16 anymore. These Magnaflows, which are basically very tightly packed glass packs sounded great. No drone and very good sound outside the car. Had girlfriend drive car and floor it while I stood in driveway and listened to this awesome sound. Last time I had her do this she almost peeled the back tires off of my supercharged Ford Harley truck when she forgot to let off of the gas, GEEEZ

This is great. I always feels my Toyota Camry 2005 lacked of something so I figured this would help, and it did!! The sound is deep but not loud. I still drive the same way so I am hoping this would help me save gas too. Update on performance and MPG == 7/17/2014 Alright, the car lost its lower to mid range of power and the MPG dropped from 31MPG to 28.5MPG. Still sounds great but I am changing it back to the factory muffler.

good throaty sound that really opens up when you step on it
