overall the wheel is usable but to be honest if i purchase something new it should come in new condition, not pleased with the damages on wheel and i was not surprised to see damage on the wheel because once i saw the package condition i had a feeling the wheel would not be in great condition, looks like it got tossed around a good bit before arrival.

After visual studio, the worst product I have ever heard of. That includes fairy tales and folk lore. This is one magical piece of junk here. Could be a collectable in a few thousand years. Buy now, and leave to your children. Future generations will wonder at how someone could be so stupid as to buy a grinding wheel that sprays the operator with sand. And spray you it will. Wear a full body suite with this gem because you'll quickly be in a sandy beach. Note: Norton probably sells full body suites. Buy that too so you can have a kit.

This wheel appears to be wearing well and was relatively true when new. I'd buy another one when needed.

Sometimes you read the reviews and think people are being overly critical and you take a chance with the product and it works out fine. Not in this case. I bought both the 60 and 100 grit wheels. Both wobble horribly on the machine to a point where they could not be used and were returned. I am looking for another brand to try out. I tried several things to get it to work with no luck. Norton needs to work on their quality control!
