Q: Would these work to be sewn on clothing? Are they washable? Will dye run?

Great questions! These pompoms are specifically designed for craft use and not intended for clothing. That said, they work wonderfully for costumes and other lightly used fabric applications. For sewing (or garland) purposes, we recommend threading a needle by hand through the middle of the pompom, making sure it goes through the tight knot in the center. Though we don’t recommend washing the pompoms, gentle hand-washing and air-drying would be the best choice if you decide to do so. These pompoms are colorfast and the dye will not run in water.
