yo los use para hacer un filtro casero para acuario y los compre por el precio ya que me salieron en 160 cada uno, comparando con los de rotoplas (320 aprox) y foset (280 aprox) en calidad precio es el mejor, tiene muy buena manufactura y trae el soporte para pared incluido en la tapa lo cual es una ventaja.

One star off because of past product failure, after about 15 years the bottom sides developed cracks. Both within weeks of each other. Now new style does not match thread size of older models. Yes times change, but never had issues with older thread size, so why change it ? Would have loved to just buy a new canister and not have to pipe in new one. When the older canisters leaked, found my basement floor wet like a water heater leaking. Took me awhile to pin point the leak, it was a stream so small, only found it by the wet wall pattern; then sliding hand around. My water supply does have a water regulator on it !

Hi quality and works well. The o-ring placement is superior design to others. I wanted to have extra o-rings in hand before every service just in case. BEWARE: There seems to be quite some confusion as to the correct size of the o-ring as per the product number. The replacements I purchased according to the product number are the wrong size and too large. I have not found the correct o-ring replacements yet but the assemblies are a fantastic product with a heavy integral mounting bracket.

I ordered the filter replacement because my old one sprung a leak. I hope to unscrew it and screw on the new one. NO the parts are different size and not inter changeable even they are exactly the same product and number on the box.
