I've purchased 2 of these after a recommendation from a friend. If you want your own ears to hurt when you use it then this is the whistle for you. I've used this whistle for lifeguarding it it was amazing. I wouldn't even have to blow hard and I would be heard in a busy pool. I've since used it for hunting as a safety whistle and at school during recess to make sure that I am heard. They are also quite durable. The only thing that has ever broke on one of these whistles is the rubber on it but I think it was just the chlorine for the pool that wreaked that.
