This game is a simulation but you do find yourself flipping the car occassionally with the speed still able to maintain 70 mph so the forgiveness is relative to the goal of negotiating dangerous terrain but not entirely mastering it. The mental maps will develop over time and you will find throttle control being most important over rising hills to maintain control and switching gears is imperative to time correctly. For example if you're speeding around a corner on the deceleration to 3rd and -you are aligned properly- switching back into 5th gear you won't hit that tree. If you switch the gear back into 4th or 5th and -you are aligned with the tree- and you are hitting the accelerator you will hit the tree, you're no longer drifting...your car will grip suddenly veer forward. Time trials can be frustrating and you need to quit for a while and come back days later. When the mental maps kicked in for me I was able to shut off visual cues and almost ignore the copilot, after knowing where the trouble spots are and the danger curves that I had crashed at. There will be late calls, and you will veer off into the distance on a sudden "1 left" going 100 mph. In Greece every turn is a cliffhanger and there are turns in Monaco where you just fly off black ice & a weak fence and it's terminal. Each location has something cool about it to learn and something annoying and difficult specifically. New England has blind granite rocks in the shrubs, New Zealand has a million hairpin turns. Australia has some interesting downhill's that require the brakes and trust in the call system. The call system is only a guide but can be used to turn before you see the turn and in fact it does not represent the gears just the approximate level of turn. Depending on the car sometimes I am one up or below in the gear to what the call is. I love going over bumps at high speeds where your car is lopsided and the shocks absorb it but you are careful not to react turn by accident. It's this dependency relationship that your car can handle some of the inevitable difficulty the game will give you. I mostly ignore the RWD vehicles as they require perfect throttle control or spinout. AWD and FWD relatively easy to learn. The rally mode at night after you have bashed the headlights out is especially difficult. Thankfully all the drivers are experiencing difficulties and you may find yourself going up in rank unexpectedly over 6 or 10 stages. That's where the game shines. In real life sometimes you have to raise a cow fence in Rally. In this game you have to roll with the losses and take acceptable losses to move forward. Unlike Sekiro, dark souls or other arcade like structures, it rewards more flexible experimentation if you are interested in the physics. During Rally mode you get 5 restarts per event. Unfortunately I have sunk so many hours into the game I am eager for an RPG now. I'm usually in the top 3-5% of the leaderboard of tens of thousands with the car that I like, the Mitsubishi Lancer. Me gusto mucho el juego, es un poco dificil pero con practica voy mejorando, los graficos son excelentes y el sonido es increible, depende de donde escogas jugar, si dentro del carro o fuera.

The game is good, great graphics & playability. However I feel there could be better explanation in the best car setups for rallying or Rallycross. YouTube gives good tutorials on how to drive the different section. The professionals make it look so easy.
