Using Canon brand makes a difference
I tried several off brands to save money but Canon has somehow managed to make non Canon brands not work well in my color copier. Model Imageclass MF741Cdw. Some off brands came with chips, some needed to be switched but none worked well and copies were inconsistent. Pages were uneven and colors way off and unclear. Canon toner costs almost as much as the copier did new! Not a good value HOWEVER, they work right where the others didn't. Reluctantly switched back to Canon's toner.

No response from seller over defective cartridge
The magenta cartridge had a blow out after two days of being installed. I have written the seller twice with no response. These cartridges cost $107 if purchased separately.

Replacement Cartridges for Cannon Printer
Canon has figured out how to make you use their replacement cartridges. Don't waste your money on the alternatives, I Did. If you find a less expensive alternative, let me know.

Great quality of print with this item, however wish the pricing for the brand name was not so much higher than off brands.
