Easy setup n go
I’m a technophobic petite human. But I needed to get the humidity in the bedroom area down during the summer and got desperate enough to buy one last year. It had a pump so I thought it would leave me with no work. But having zero experience with such things, I wound up with a very loud rattling sound through the night and parked the monstrosity in the basement, where it keeps things cool and dry. This year I checked out reviews on YouTube for quiet humidifiers and came across one where the guy did a pile of research on quiet dehumidifiers and wound up with this one. It was called something else at the time but a little sleuthing unearthed this puppy. He was right. This is so much more quiet and unobtrusive than last year’s unit. I love it. It was a little heavy for me to lift out of the box but beyond that, installation was simple. I put it in my room, took off the tape, plugged it in, and that was it. It started humming. It sucked water out of the air. Periodically I dump the water out. But I don’t care. The noise factor was far more important to me than anything else. There is no point in having one of these things in your bedrooms if it’s making a racket. In fact, I love it so much that I got a second one a week later. They’re designed for small spaces. I don’t mind the additional cost. I finally just installed the second one near the bathroom in the same bedroom area and now the whole floor (200-250 sqft) is nice and dry. It’s middle of the summer. It’s usually wet as rain. But not anymore. It’s nice and dry. And QUIET. Works great. My only complaint is that it beeps a million times when you take out the bucket. I haven’t let it get to “full” for that reason because a full bucket would trip off all those chirps. Last thing I need is for it to wake everyone up in the middle of the night. I wish there were a way to choose the number of beeps or type of chirp. Maybe have a Bluetooth component with an app where it can alert you that the unit has stopped and water needs clearing. But I’m not docking off stars for that because it’s really just great for the price, performance, value, quiet, and description.

Works good
It works very good i have ran non stop for around 2 months now , I dont think it would do the sqft it says it will , but I am using it in 480sqft and works great . No loud and had low power consumption. As per most reviews yes the wheels are hard to get installed.

It's good, with some issues after 3 years
Bought this dehumidifier 3 years ago and I decided to update my review. The compressor still works well, but the water collection is not working consistently, and I have not been able to problem-solve. Water drips onto the floor instead of going into the holding tank. This started occurring after 3 years of ownership. The other problem is that the motor has a lot of vibration. If I was determined to address this issue I would probably set the unit on a carpet square or on some foam to try to absorb the sound and rattling. It's engineered to kick on and off regularly and it can make a great deal of noise when the compressor is vibrating. Does dehumidification work? Yes. During the humid season where we normally had 80% or 90% humidity indoors, it easily brought the humidity under control to my set point of 50%. All the controls make sense once you get used to them. I like the large digital readout. It is an attractive unit compared to others. Also, the wheels make it easy to move or store, and it has a nice heavy duty cord.

Quiet and Effective
TL/DR Quiet, effective, compact, quiet, inexpensive and quiet. Only a short lifespan would prevent me from purchasing another. I needed a dehumidifier that worked and was quiet, the Luko 2000 did not disappoint. It was packaged well and shipped in it's original box with no damage. It was easy to set up and get running, I opted to leave the wheels off to keep the dogs from relocating it. My house is 1800 sq ft with about 1100 of that on the first floor, the Luko 2000 is keeping the humidity hovering around 50% no matter what the outside humidity is. We have a full basement with a 4500 sq ft Midea Cube running. The basement unit wasn't able to keep the upstairs dry alone. The Luko 2000 on high with a setpoint of 50% will fill the bucket 3 times a day if the humidity is high enough to need constant running. The bucket is small and located on the back of the unit. It's easy to reach behind and remove it for emptying, just leave a foot or so of space behind the unit. I don't have an easy way to use the continuous drain feature. For me the most impressive feature is the low noise, even on high fan setting. It's about 6' behind my chair, I can hear it but it is not obtrusive. I can watch TV without raising the volume. How your space is set up will affect how much you hear it, but it makes about the half the noise that a window air conditioner does, quieter than a floor fan on high but not quieter than a mini split AC unit.

Did not do anything after 72 hours
I returned this. First the spot where the wheels were supposed to go was completely filled with hot glue that I could not remove so I could not use the wheels. I had this in a 1000sq ft basement. It started at 72% humidity. After 24 hours of running with the continuous drain it went down to 68%. A few hours later I checked on it again and it was back up to 70%. I disconnected the drain so it would fill the bucket instead wondering if there was a problem with the drain. After another 24 hours the humidity was at 75%. The unit was set at 40% and I had it on high. I checked multiple times. It never came back down from 75% humidity. After 3 days I used our very old and dying dehumidifier that this was supposed to replace to see if it was the unit or just too much moisture and the old unit took it down to 55% humidity in the same day. This unit I’m reviewing never got below 68% even with running for 3 days. I moved this new one to the kitchen which is significantly smaller, set it to 40% on high again. It started at 62% humidity, went to 58% after a few hours but then I started to cook pasta and it went back up to 65% humidity. After running for several more hours after I was done cooking (and as soon as I was done I drained and rinsed the sink with cold water to stop the steam) and the humidity level only went down to 63%. The bucket was not even a 1/4 of the way full. For the price I paid for this I expect it to decrease the humidity. I’d understand if it was taking a while but it was either not making a difference or increasing the humidity despite it being set at 40%.

Excellent item
It has been a few years since I bought this item. I was its performance to give a real review. It really works. It has been durable and efficient, saves space, it is easy to move from one room to another. Very easy to empty and keep clean. Highly recommended

Seems to only work for about a year
The dehumidifier worked really well for the first year or so, i liked the timer and auto on and auto off features. And easy to use. However, after about a year and a half it stopped removing moisture as well until it just didn't work at all. It continued to come on, and the fan continued to work, however it didn't dehumidify any more.
