Great value, too-close USB ports, odd quirks with Steam Deck
So, for the price, this thing really is hard to beat. It's super compact (like, fits in my pocket), has two slots for both an SD and MicroSD card (though I think only one works at a time), and has 3 USB ports in addition to outputting 1080p HDMI video. That said, it isn't without some quirks that, while easy enough to work with, are still a pain out of the box. First, the USB ports are wayyy too close together. I can plug in my keyboard, mouse, and maybe another peripheral with little issue, but if you need something like a USB drive along with your keyboard and mouse, that USB stick is probably not going to fit unless it is extremely low profile. It's a trade off the manufacturer appears to have made for the sake of the overall size of the device. Also, I haven't noticed this myself, but beware that some reviewers have noted that it may not actually support all 3 USB ports being used at the same time if they require much power draw to function. My main issue with this product is its compatibility with Steam Deck; it DOES work, as I have since managed to troubleshoot my way into it being an excellent portable dock with no lasting issues since, but the initial setup and troubleshoot process is rough. I am not sure if it is an issue with this product or the Steam Deck, but it took nearly an hour of poking around in the audio/visual settings for the Steam Deck to output audio along with the video over HDMI through this device. It just didn't seem to recognize that there even *was* a device plugged into it until I flipped a bunch of settings around. Essentially, I DO recommend this as a cheap Steam Deck Dock alternative, but know that it may not work 100% out of the box without some tinkering. Finally, though I have not tested this or had any issues with it, some users claim this does *NOT* support the full amount of power input that it claims in the listing. YMMV.

Huge lag when more than one port is used
It works as advertised, but I use it to plug an external mouse + keyboard into my Macbook Pro 2020, as well as use HDMI for dual screen, and after just one day I'm seeing that there is a huge lag when I try to type on the external keyboard, so much so that oftentimes the keystrokes don't even get registered into the computer and I have to type the same thing multiple times. I plan on returning this item. Was a great price, just wish it functioned better.

Good hub.
I’ve had the hub for a few months now- it works well and matches my MacBook. The USB A ports are a bit difficult to get the drives in and out of, but they function well. The SD slot is a bit sticky as well, but it works. I’ve used multiple ports at the same time and they work as intended. I’ve been happy with the hub.

Perfect for my MacBook Air
Great purchase to go with my MacBook Air. I had another hub, but because of the case I have for my MacBook, I would always have to remove the bottom panel in order to attach it. With the connector for this hub extended by a cord, it is just as easy insertion into the USB-C port with no need to remove the panel, so much more convenient to use, as it allows me to connect a larger monitor, an external HD, and a CD-R drive as I need. Well worth it!

Works great -- very portable!
This USB hub works great -- it's smaller than expected, built very well (aluminum body), and works great. The lighter silver color is a near perfect match for a MacBook and it adds critical functionality that Apple decided not to implement (like a basic USB-A port). The packaging also works well to keep this hub safe and secure in a computer bag (don't throw it out!).
