Great product - Read full review for more info.
I have been using a smaller "Gidget" table for several years. It worked for my small sewing machine but my new/larger machine does not fit in the drop-down trayI spent hours looking at tables and reading reviews before selecting this oneThis has lots of great features (see below) but I wanted a drop-down tray large enough for my machine.Order placed December 31; scheduled for January 8 delivery (Holiday and 2 weekends in between)Very pleased that it arrived earlier than scheduled, arriving on January 6Saw comments either about this table (or others I considered) stating the table top was damaged upon arrivalMine arrived in excellent conditionOnly a couple of dimples on one end - does not appear to be from packaging and will not affect the functionality of the tableAll screws, parts, Allen wrench and hex wrench includedAll screws and parts properly labeledAll holes were properly placed and drilledIf you use the Allen wrench, it will take a long time to assembleThe Allen wrench is short and some of the screws are placed so the wrench needs to be repositioned frequentlyMy husband used an Allen drill bit for his drill, along with a flexible extension, which made assembly much fasterYou will also need a Phillips screwdriver, which is not includedDirections are not listed in numerical orderIf you follow each page as shown, the table goes together very wellWhen attached, the shelf support did not pop into the plastic bracketThis was corrected by loosening the hinge, positioning the shelf support then re-tightening the hingesI will probably keep the shelf up most of the timeMy sewing machine (Singer Modern Quilter) measures approximately 22" x 9.5"The drop-down tray measures 23" x 10.75"The power cord and foot pedal cord connect on the right side of my machineThe larger extension table will not fit on the machine with the drop-down tray loweredI have a small accessory tray that came with my machineThe machine is very snug side to side with the cords connected and the accessory tray attachedIn fact, we fed the power cord through the bracket on the side of the drop-down trayIf you plan to use the free arm on a regular basis, lowering and raising the drop-down tray will be inconvenient, especially if your machine is heavyIn my opinion, it is best to remove any size sewing machine before adjusting the tray positionThis table has a generous work area and total dimensions of the table are:Entire table top measures 60" wide x 23 1/2" deep x 29" highThe drop-down tray drops 3"My machine measures 3.75"My machine does not sit flush with the table top even with the drop-down tray in the lowest positionThis may or may not be an issue for youIt is not an issue for me, as the accessory tray has a rounded edgeThe left side of the table measurements are as follows:Table top with leaf down - approximately 6" wideLeaf - approximately 9 3/8" wideTop left with leaf up - approximately 15 1/2"The right side of the table measurements are as follows:Table top - approximately 21 1/2" wideCloth drawers - 13" wide x 3 1/2" deep (three drawers total)The cloth drawers are a thin canvas-type fabric, black in colorEach one has a large grommet-style openingThe drawers sit on a trackThere is a bottom insert for each drawerThe bottom inserts are made from cardboard with the canvas-type fabric on the topI would not put extremely heavy items in the drawersThe drawers offer ample space for a variety of sewing suppliesThe drawers do not have dividers; however, you could add small plastic trays if neededThere is a metal shelf beneath the tableThe shelf measures approximately 32" wide x 7" deepAlthough I have not yet used the machine with this new table, my shins do not hit the shelf when sitting at the tableI'm not sure what, if anything, I might use the shelf for on a regular basisThe shelf would be a handy place to put the foot pedal when vacuuming under the tableDepending on the height of your chair or bench, be careful not to hit your knee on the platform bar, which is attached to the drop-down tray, as you get up and downThe table has 6 levelersI am using this on a carpeted floor and may not need to adjust the levelersI have not tried sliding the table with the machine in place and it's probably best/safest not toThe table slides very easily on my carpet with no sewing machine or suppliesThe table top and drop-down tray are white and approximately 5/8" deepThe table top seems to be Formica and has a bit of a texture to itIt would be nice to have a larger work area to the left of the machineIf you are right handed, the large area to the right is great if you need to write while seated (I am left handed)There is sufficient table surface for sewing supplies and/or a lamp to the right of the machineHaving just set it up this evening, I am very pleased with the size, color and functionality of this table. Hope all of this information is helpful; please ask questions and I will answer as best I can.

Perfect size and very functional
I love this table. I have a small lower set it to put my Janome 7700 and have also used it with another of my Janome machines. Very versatile. The height is perfect and ease of assembly. Very sturdy and does not shake when I sew on it.

Very sturdy and well put together
I splurged and got a sewing machine I always wanted. Now I needed a table that could support and hold up my new machine. It’s a great fit and it does not shake when I am sewing. Beautiful design and lots of space. Very pleased

Nice... but too much drama with Customer Service
The instructions were clear and the table went together well. I is perfect for my sewing machine and seems quite sturdy. This table would have gotten five stars but I took away a star because of the company's customer service. The box arrived damaged and heavily taped. When I looked at the parts I found an entire page of parts missing - namely ALL the bolts, nuts, screws, and small tools that should have been a part of the box. I guess when the box was damaged, whatever package that contained the screws, etc. fell out and was lost. Still the rest of the pieces were fine, so I thought of contacting Studio Design and ask them to send the screws. Over the next week I tried many times to reach Studio Design and also used their web form to get replacement parts to no avail. I got no response at all.So, I contacted Amazon and told them what happened, and they offered to send a replacement table kit, which I accepted. Two days after contacting Amazon, the package of screws, etc. arrived from Studio Designs- no explanation (perhaps Amazon contacted them?) All the missing pieces were in the package, which I used to put the table together. The table came out very nice and suits my needs well.I cancelled the replacement order as I was able to get my table.Again, this table should get five stars, but poor customer service almost ruined everything. I don't usually write reviews, but I am hoping Studio Design sees this and improves Customer Service. BTW a special thanks to Amazon for their customer service.

Sewing table
While I would have preferred "straight" legs on the sewing table, it is overall a well-designed sturdy product.Thank you.....
