My son loves these books. Every Christmas I order a couple so I can read it to him. Read these books every night before bedtime. Also after I read a few times, he then reads them to me.

We homeschool and I like this book for child lead science learning. It rhymes and is quite informative and depending on child ability, it can be read by the average 6:7 year old or even an advanced 5yr old.

I actually bought the book because I wanted to buy “The Cat In The Hat” during the time of the Dr Suess Debaucle/Read Week as a prize for a kindergarten student of mine for showing kindness to one of her (autistic) classmates🥺 (in addition to one of her classmates) and she wanted “The Cat In the Hat”. I couldn’t find it ( it was sold out here on Amazon at the time) so I asked her what other topics she liked reading. She said “cats”; it was hard to find a book about cats that around her reading level, but could still provide a good intro into “informational reading” and a good “fun read”. And this book provided both as I looked through the search page. It was PERFECT and my student liked it too! Plus it allowed them to get familiar “sight words” and forms of “phonological awareness”. Definitely a must buy for young readers who like “cats” and “The Cat In The Hat.”
