It looks cool, it’s all metal, will last a long time. My son loves it. Great buy for sure.

My son has fun with this, and he can take it to school. The seller followed through, and it arrived as described. It doesn't look like it's really meant to last, but--for the price--it would be worth it to get six months out of it. You won't regret the purchase if you don't have high expectations for durability.

Easy to break or squish making it hard to open because the comb is caught by the handle.

Very bad quality. Not just cheap, I expected cheap. My main complaint was that the metal was not smooth. It's texture was rough and I found that after using it for a while I had tons of small cuts on my finger, and small metal splinters. In the end I had to refund it because I couldn't use it without it cutting me. Not bad enough to draw blood, but enough to make my finges feel tender and sensitive, to the point where putting pressure on them caused pain.

The comb was really nice it was fun to use it was good quality. I was learning a few tricks until someone stole it from me, I don’t have it now but I do recommend it was fun while it laste.

Light weight good quality material nice detail

While the product itself looks quite nice at a distance, closer inspection reveals serious flaws in the manufacture. Firstly, the material seems oddly light compared to most stainless butterflies I have tried in my life. This appears to be because for one thing, it is not a very durable design. The handle is not made out of purposefully molded or forged steel but rather a few thin plates tacked together with metal studs. This caused the handle to bend in transport, making for a tighter squeeze when closing the comb. Additionally, squeezing the handle when open allows for even more distortion. Secondly, the odd chips and bits left within the improperly cut comb lead me to believe that it is in fact some kind of resin rather than actual steel. had it been genuine steel, it would not retain such obvious and visible defects. Additionally, because the whole thing is so light, it does not provide an adequate training tool for a real Balisung. I give it 2 stars. If it were just a little uglier, it would be a 1.
