My daughter wanted to offer a variety of substrates in her new hamster’s cage. After reading several reviews, we chose the Niteangel cork bedding. It’s high quality, has a pleasant texture, and is a great value. Our hamster absolutely loves it!

This serves its purpose. We put it in the clear sided dig box for my daughters Syrian hamster. Mixed in some flower petals and other sensory dried plant products. Hamster loves it! High quality. Great texture.

A bit expensive for how much you’re getting. The cheaper alternative would be to buy bricks of peat, submerge it in water, and then leave it out to dry. Buying bags is much more convenient if you don’t have the time.

I froze it for a few days for precaution (learned the hard way with other brands). Now that my hamster has it in her cage - she uses it every night and there is less mess to clean up then sand. It seems to work well and make her happy. There is a nice amount that you receive in the bag.
