I bought these NINE years ago and they look as new as the first day. They fit every can I’ve used, from tiny kitten cans to dog food cans to the wide cat food cans. I wash them in the dishwasher a few times a week and they come out perfectly clean. No ripping or breakdown of the silicone over the years.

It was pretty easy for me to pick this product when I was searching for a universal pet food can cover. As of this date, there are well over 200 reviews and none of them give this product less than 4 stars. That's pretty encouraging when you are looking for a product like this. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Each dog has a different wet food and the cat has her own. That's three cans that would go into my refrigerator with aluminum foil on top to keep the contents fresh. There were times I would stare at the ugly tin foil covering the pet food cans and wonder if there was an alternative. "Someone had to make a pet food cover," I said to myself. I began my search on Amazon for that product. What intrigued me about the Aero Pet Can cover, besides its rave reviews, was the fact that it was a universal pet can cover. You can see by the multiple ridges on the bottom of the rubber that it fits many sized cans. I am including a picture of two very popular canned pet food sizes. You can see that the lid perfectly fits each. The fact that it's made of rubber means that it's durable in being used over and over again as well as going through the dishwasher. This is the perfect solution for keeping pet food (or any canned food) fresh in the refrigerator after it has been opened. I can't recommend this enough.

I ordered this can cover for the tall cans of cat food and was pleased to find that it fit them beautifully as well as the smaller, wider Friskies type of canned cat food. I also tried it on other cans like Campbell's and Progresso soups and other vegetable cans. They fit all of those. In addition, you get two of them and they are very high quality and very flexible. They have a little handle on them for easy removability. I also liked the weight of them and the pretty blue color. They also feel very good to the touch. I heard from the Company and they seem very polite and eager to please. I am happy I ordered these and highly recommend them.

I use 1/3 of a can of wet dog food to mix in with my dog's dry food each meal to make it more appealing and enjoyable and up until now have just been keeping the can inside a quart size ziplock bag in the fridge. I bought these to become a more permanent and less wasteful solution and so far I'm pleased! Not only do they fit the current cans we have (Blue Buffalo Basic) but they're super easy to wash and to throw in the dishwasher which is awesome! The seal is good enough to keep the food moist and fresh without being hard to pull the lid off. The only thing is that because I use smaller cans it does add a little girth to the can making it take up more space in the fridge door where it lives (see pics). All in all I am very pleased with this purchase for the price! Hope this helps. I paid full price for it!

Nicely made and fit/stay in place far better than the hard plastic ones. The multiple size design is good, but makes it just a tad harder to fit on a smaller can without some fumbling, improved with practice. Honestly, one of the few good applications of the "silicone invasion" of kitchen tools and goods. Should last pretty much forever with a little care - again, an improvement on the hard plastic ones, which crack eventually. 1/30/17 - Had to update my review to five stars. The multiple-size design was indeed a little harder to manage on a smaller can at first, but after a week or so it became simple and automatic to slap the cover back on the can. The design is more subtle than I'd noticed, with slightly staggered ridges that help center the lid once you learn to use them. I expect to have this pair of lids around, with daily use, for a long time. I love that I'll NEVER have to put up with the tight plastic ones that warp, shrink and crack again!

Started giving my dog pumpkin. It comes in a can and has no extra ingredients except pumpkin. It settles their stomach. I mix it with her regular food. But I'm not reviewing that. It takes about a week to go through a can and putting aluminum foil is just a waste of foil. These are perfect. They are not like the old fashioned can covers that were brittle and cracked after a few months. These are soft and dishwasher safe. They even fit bigger cans. You get two and that is more than enough for me since I don't have many cans in the fridge. The price can't be beat either.

Works well enough. Like others have said, they are not exactly air tight on smaller cans. But if you put the lid on and press down in the center, it sort of suctions better. If you were to drop it a can on the floor with this lid, it would surely come right off. But it's still better than having nothing, or wasting plastic wrap on each can. I do like that you can use them on multiple sizes.

These lids are great. Durable, easy to put on, easy to take off, easy to clean with just a rinse, and they keep pet food cans sealed and the smell of pet food in the can. No more fooling with plastic wrap or tin foil in an ineffective attempt to seal a pet food can. No more experimenting with transferring wet, smelly cat food into a sealable container. I've also run these lids through the dishwasher several times to sterilize them and they remain good as new with no sign of melting or changing shape. An easy-to-use inexpensive product that continues to save me time, money and aggravation. Definitely 5 stars.
