I use these to cover drift boats. They last one year before falling apart. They are mid weight. They do their job. There are a lot of different tarps out there. I do not think you can go wrong with these ones, and that's why I re ordered. There's nothing magic about these tarps. You cover stuff with them. The tarps absorb the UV light which eventually breaks them down.... but again, they do their job. I respect that. I actually respect these tarps more than some people. To be honest. With this tarp you kind of know what you're getting... with people... its hit and miss honestly.

Used first time and measured it to be sure advertisement was correct. Unfortunately it was not yet I will keep it. The tarp measures EXACTLY 19' 2" x 19' 2" finished size so it is NOT a 20'x20' at all and NOT the 19'4"x19'6" advertised in this ad. Lets get to the good things.. the tarp is very good quality, very thick, heavy and does not allow ANY water penetration. The grommets are well placed and installed correctly. If you are hanging your tarp for camp, does not matter the tarp, do NOT use grommets! Of course they will break, that is the weakest point! Instead look up alternative ways to hang including the rock method (my favorite) that puts less pressure on one spot and spreads it more evenly so your tarp will last more than one camping trip! The color is great for camp, we hung this way high over our 10x14 cabin tent and stayed dry during a bad storm. The tarp is thick so the rain drops didnt sound like the cheap tarp plastic noises. WE love it! Please change the description to properly advertise the measurements, I am a flooring installer by trade and know exactly how to measure something 4 stars, knocked of one star for measurements.

light duty, poor quality, didn't last.

We haven't had a serious storm yet--only 20-25 mph gusts--but I am impressed by just how substantial this tarp is. I have it covering a travel trailer for winter, tied off at all grommets with substantial tension, and it is holding up beautifully, with no signs of weakness or fabric strain, all grommets secure. I do expect stormy conditions in the spring, but its thickness and weight in addition to its construction give me confidence that it will fare well in higher winds. It is very heavy-duty and I expect it to easily last a year or more and to withstand UV almost as well as it's holding up to wind, rain, tree branches, and killer acorns. I'm ordering a second one, for another tarp need, this week.

I was really excited that I found a tarp that I thought would fit on top of my carport, mind you it's 10' X 20' and this tarp with the "extra" 2 feet barely made to the edge. The length was great but they need to actually measure the width. I'm still using it but my excitement went to disappoint.
