ES5 Premium Safety Eyewear, Ultralight Frame and Adjustable Nosepiece

This is our fourth order of these glasses. Perfect fit, great diopter placement, and really nice lenses. They are comfortable and give me the ability to read when I'm outside. They also offer safety when doing yard work or maintenance. They are not scratch resistant, so keep them in a case when not in use. They function great for us!

Over the years I've owned everything from Vaurnets, Sunclouds and Maui Jims to cheapo dollar store sunglasses. These glasses rank right up there with the best of them. The frames are light, strong and flexible, but most importantly they sit evenly and balanced on your face. No problems where your eyelash rubs on the right lense and the left lense is way off your face. The nose peice is just tacky enough not to slip, but very comfortable and very securely attached to the frames. The arms have a bit of tacky rubber on the end that sits over the ear to help keep them secure so they don't slip off, and they are thin enough to be comfortable while wearing a full face helmet. The lenses are as good as my Maui Jims - perfectly clear, no distortion, optical quality. I can wear these all day without any symptoms of lense distortion (like a low grade headache and/or tired eyes). Now that I've matured, I can't see small print up close anymore, so the diopter on these is perfect. Whether I'm on my motorcycle trying to see the instrument panel or the next turn on the GPS, or in my car trying to see the outside temperature, all I need to do is glance downward and viola! I can see what I am looking for. Perfect when reading outside on the deck or at the beach too. I have both the polarized lense model (this review) as well as the non-polarized and both are great. The polarized lense is great for cutting glare when on or near water and for blocking snow glare in winter. As others have said, the diopter is not in your direct line of vision so you won't notice the magnifier unless you intentionally glance downward, but at the same time it is easy to invoke the magnification when needed without straining your eyes. These are a great pair of sunglasses with or without the magnification.

I had these glasses when I used to work for a concrete company back home in Colorado, you may or may not know it but either way these were are safety glasses. I love these glasses unfortunately when I left the job because I was a temp worker I didn't ask for another pair like most of us did! Just left with the ones I had, I like these glasses that feel really good on my face. they're comfortable I wouldn't say they're really durable but they are quite lightweight but I really love the brown tint, I know there are other colors but these are my favorite color and style I had a completely different style from the same company it was the lens all the way across those ones are nice too I don't know what I did with them but they had them for a very long time a little bit stronger than these ones. I like these ones because they're not the readers like the last pair I had, this is my third pair I've owned as well

I love these sun glasses ! They are actually my favorites. Have been using them for a few years. The built in "Cheater lenses" make them indespencible for me. I, like a million of you, am tough on my sunglasses and expensive glasses are a waste of money for me. Use in Fire / rescue / EMS, target shooting, mountain biking, etc.... having safety rated glasses with the cheaters is a must for me. I like the style. This "irridium" type color helps me with contrast and good when lighting gets low, cloudy, or shadows. I buy six pairs every summer to get me through the year. I have never broken a pair in general use. I have broken a pair in hard use where they fell off my hat and were stepped on. No tears shed not being 100 dollar glasses. They usually will be retired because of scratching after a lot of hard use, but are pretty good at not scratching super easily. The ~ one thing~ that does occure is the nose cushions come off after a while. If you don't loose them, you can glue them back. If you do loose them, for me at least they are still usable and don't hurt the bridge of my nose.
