The product is as described. Very simple. Easy to install, it comes with a rubber piece just in case the item fails to grip your throttle. You will need a bit of trial and error to get the comfortable installation position. One of the best buys for motorcycle accessories.

I've been using this or a similar product for about 14 years of regular riding (cruiser, then VSTrom DL1000, then GSXR-1000, and now Concours 14) averaging 10k miles / year or so. At first it's use was tricky and it's true you have to get used to it. But it was the first thing I got for my new 2013 Concours 14 abs. Let me give a usage hint: When starting out, rotate it so it is completely out of the way and don't use it. Pointed down it will have no impact. It is best all the way to the right of your throttle too. Then, before you are on a safe stretch of non-busy road (while stopped), experiment with it until it is positioned so you can just hold it in cruising position. You want it to not interfere when you rest your hand in idle or braking position, but it needs to be just high enough that it can be applied by bending at the wrist a little. For me that is pointing back and slightly down. Better too far down than too far up where it could interfere with braking. There is a specific point where it works perfectly but you have to find it. The goal is to ease holding cruising speed by allowing your grip to loosen while applying light downward pressure with the wrist, AND not letting it interfere with braking or causing other unexpected throttle actions. This often means make sure it is not positioned too high into your wrist. Although I do not like the long ones, this short wide one is nice. I think the long ones are more dangerous. My last one was a long one but I cut it down (and sanded it) to about an inch so it was less obtrusive. It worked great on my gixxer. The advantage of the narrow one is it can be more out of the way (to the right) but so far I'm liking this one fine. It is still short but more comfortable. This is a great product but can be dangerous if you are careless or don't take the time to get used to it and position it right. Same with motorcycles. Just be careful and learn to use it at your own safe pace. And remember you can simply rotate it out of the way when it's not needed. Make sure it does not interfere with emergency braking.

Doesn't look like it would fit, but they do. Even with Grip Puppies installed over the factory 7/8 grips The Cramp buster fit, although it took a fair amount of effort to get it on. Better tighter than looser. I use mainly on the highway and don't use much in town.

First, cost is silly expensive for a piece of plastic. It does provide some relief when out riding. I put this one on the clutch side to help prevent hand cramping. It fits much tighter and with minimal slip on the grip even without the provided rubber sleeve. There has to be a huge profit margin on these convenient little pieces of plastic clip!
