I am using the CableMod vertical GPU bracket but I didn't realize I ordered the wrong cable from them. I have a DP to HDMI cable going into my monitor (only accepts HDMI) from my PC (only outputs DP) so I needed a right angle DP to DP extension that would still give me HD display and this item did the job right. My FPS did take a hit - it went form 75 to ~42 - but it's not an issue for me because I try to use my TV as a gaming monitor instead. Anyways I'd recommend this item if it's the solution that's going to save you money!

This cable saved my build. My DP's are hard to get to and the allowed me to use a display port without blocking another. I wish they sold another keyed the other way though. Something to think about

Update 12/25** I returned my 180hz monitor and swapped it out for an ASUS PG279Q 1440p 165hz monitor (No, not because of the cable... i got it on sale, and didn’t care for the TN Panel and 1080p). I’m glad i didn’t end up returning the cable because it actually works on this monitor. So I’m not entirely sure why it wouldn’t work with the ASUS PG248Q 180hz monitor. So it appears it depends on the model if you are going above 60hz. I purchased two of these because i have two monitors and i wanted my computer case as close to the wall as possible. It works flawlessly on my 1440p 60hz monitor (ASUS PB278Q), but not so great on my 1080p 180hz monitor (ASUS PG248Q). Anything above 60hz it will start to blink like crazy (see video). Therefor, will not work with 120hz, 144hz, 160hz, nor 180hz monitors. It’s possible i have a setting wrong, but I’m hoping I can find a work around as i need these cables. There aren’t many 90 degree DP adapters out there.

Sometimes, you need a DP cable with a right angle end to fit a tight space. Well, this is that cable.

Bought to connect to a pc that's in a tight space. Works flawlessly. Much easier to connect and disconnect a display in an awkward area.
