Hansgrohe 26036001 Raindance Handshower, Chrome

I replaced a Grohe hand held shower head that was installed in 2009. I ordered a Grohe replacement hand head shower head from Amazon (part Grohe 28421002 -Tempesta Classic 100 4 Spray Hand Shower, Starlight Chrome, which was poorly made. I find it difficult to understand why this part received so many great reviews compared to other shower heads with superior construction. In. addition the plastic shower head had to be twisted to provide each type of spray and I wonder how long the shower head would stand-up with repeated changes. I returned the Grohe shower head and purchased the more expensive and better made Hansgrohe shower head (part 26037001). The Hansgrohe shower head had a wider and better spray pattern. Also, you could change the spray pattern on the Hansgrohe shower head by simply depressing a button on the shower head. You get what you paid for and so far the Hansgrohe shower head is exactly what I wanted.

Shower head is a work of art, like alot have mentioned. One thing I didn't see mentioned is the lack of splash after the tiny droplets hit the floor from 10 feet. I deleted my shower door, for a more European feel shower, and this shower head does not send any droplets to the floor outside the shower. Weird review I guess, but I really appreciate not stepping in to a lake on the floor after a shower!

I just remodeled my bathroom and I must admit, this showerhead is the star of it all! I definitely splurged (on the high end of showerheads), but wow....in this instance I got what I paid for. For a water-saving showerhead, it packs a punch and the droplets are so dense and the streams are so small, it actually feels like a soft blanket or a warm hug on your skin. If you like a strong firm stream of jets, this showerhead isn't for you, but it fit my needs perfectly!

This shower head is so cool. Very different experience than any other shower head I've ever felt. The light rain is essentially four heads in the space of one. So it is so gentle when washing my face, but still a lot of actual water flow. I love the feeling. The whirl isn't as much of a massage as I would like, but overall, I really enjoy this shower head.
