The v2.0 of this little flashlight is very good, but the v3.0 is not made as well, and the rubber parts aren’t as good.

I've always carried a pocket flashlight, so I've had many over the years. This one ranks among the best. It uses a single AA battery, which I require, and has 3 levels of brightness. The bright mode is very bright, for its size. I actually like how the clip is made, to either clip on your pants pocket, or to clip on the brim of a hat, to shine out. Can't go wrong with this one.

The light is amazing. The clip is absolutely terrible. It has an extra spiky hump under the clip that keeps it from fully attaching to my pocket. I’m afraid it’s going to damage my pants if I’m not careful. Definitely needs to be redesigned or a better replacement clip offered.

Reading flashlight reveiews, you would think that the lumens this thing puts out would be dimmer than a night light. It's not! It's plenty bright and compact for EDC. Unless you're in the woods trying to signal a helicopter in the sky, this should be more than enough.

Due to someone having given me the PD35 a while back, I got a little hooked on the Fenix lights. All the "color of LED" stuff aside, they make some really solid and well thought out lights. That being said - the E12 is a bit disappointing when it comes to brightness. I ended up getting the PD25R instead and while the battery life on that is not amazing (on higher brightness settings anyway), the brightness levels are pretty good and I like the two switch system better (one for on/off and the other to choose the brightness levels). Plus, PD25R is, well, rechargeable. It seems that the CR123-style batteries just drive a brighter output. If you really want the super-brightness and super battery life - checkout something like the PD36R, but it's bigger (and pricier). Truth be told - get something like the PD25R for EDC and PD36R for in-house/car use.

This broke within an hour of unboxing. You guys really screwed up a great model with this V2 nonsense.

For the price, I was pretty disappointed in the illumination level it puts out. I have smaller and comparable lights that seem to do better.

Habe mir vor vielen Jahren von fenix die Outdoor-Lampe LD 20 gekauft und war begeistert. Leider in einem Quartier vergessen und gleich nachgekauft. Für den Alltagsgebrauch dann diese beschafft. Habe mittlerweile 2 davon. + sehr gut und hochwertig gefertigt + sehr robust + tolle Lichtausbeute + sehr gute Leuchtdauer + 3 Helligkeitsstufen + arbeitet mit herkömmlichen AA-Zellen + auch mit Akkus betreibbar

Having used this for just a few days less than one year, my likes and dislikes about the torch have changed. What I like: Tiny size, barely bigger than a single AA battery. Tail switch, slightly recessed to avoid accidental operation. Very soft pressure needed to change from low -> medium -> high Efficient use of battery power, long battery life. Overall, it feels good, barely noticeable in a pocket or bag. What I don't like: Colour of light produced, a slightly greenish tint. At the brightest setting it produces plenty of light but it is still hard to see things properly. My taste has changed towards high CRI emitters which would give a more natural appearance. Conclusion: Good to carry around because of its size and dependability. original review is below: - - - - - - - - Can be operated by twisting the head. Most of the torches I've bought, even expensive brand-name ones, fail when the on-off switch breaks. This has a push-button switch, but works just as well by twisting the top to turn it on and off instead. Saves wear and-tear on the fragile moving parts. Another good feature is it comes on in low-brightness mode, great for indoor night-time use. And no flashing modes - what a relief. Works well on nearly-exhausted batteries, just doesn't give up. Cons - could brighter. For similar or lower cost I've had brighter single-AA torches.

Bestelling prima verlopen. Op de vooraf meegedeelde dag netjes geleverd. Klein maar krachtig lampje. Heel mooi afgewerkt zoals ik van Fenix gewend ben. Tevreden over mijn aankoop.

Très bon produit. Je suis satisfait. L’utilisation d’une seule piles AA est très appréciable. La luminosité est plus que suffisante. Les 3 niveau d’intensité son bien réparti. L’interrupteur mécanique qui préserve les piles. La lampe est très petite, certains critiqueront la prise en main mais je vois sa taille comme un avantage.
