This review is for the Noctua NH-U9S Chormax Black after about a week of usage. I got this cooler for small NAS build. CPU usage spikes occasionally if video encoding/transcoding is required, otherwise it's a fairly small & low power build. The stock cooler wasn't going below 40C idle and was hitting thermal limits at full load. With this cooler, I'm getting around 35C at idle and 52C with long-term stress tests. Overall, I like it. Build quality is excellent (as one would expect from Noctua). The fan is dead silent in idle mode, and relatively quiet at higher RPMs. The cooler comes with one fan, and the box includes clips if you'd like to attach a second fan. I was specifically looking for something that was small and quiet. Be mindful that: * even with two fans in push-pull, don't use this in a high-end gaming rig. Instead, get the larger Noctua - it's the gold standard of air cooling for a reason. * the fans aren't 120mm, so replacements won't be cheap * air coolers tend to last a long time, so don't pinch pennies, Instead, spend a bit and get a good one

. Does it's job as intended. Did not regret purchase. Also includes paste. Also works with oc on my ryzen 5600x . Temps 60 degree c

this air cooler by noctua just ticks all the boxes, its really efficient if not used on a overclocked cpu, it is SUUPPPPEERRR silent, even on the full speed fan profile it is almost audible if u concentrate on the noise of it alone, currently i am running this on a 5600x and in cinebench r23 under all core load it still maintained 75-80 degrees celsius, in games like gta 5 with all the graphic settings at ultra and scalling distance at full the cooler managed to keep the cpu cool by not letting it exceed 65 degrees celsius 🤯. just happy with this purchase but the con being that it hit 90+ degrees with slight overclocking so i would not recommend this air cooler for overclocking but for daily usage and multiapplication and heavy gaming /streaming this cooler is perfect and veeryy easy to install, this cooler is just in all senses 🤩 PERFECT.

Love the cooler. Great for 6 core CPUs and cases with limited headroom/SFF builds. What I didn't love however was that I got what was clearly an open box return. The box tape seals and the protective film at the base of the cooler were missing. One of the mounting arms was also scratched. Couldn't be asked to take this up with the seller because the cooler still works as advertised. In an ideal world, an open box return is discounted which this was not. Very Irritating to deal with disingenuous sellers. Nothing against the product, this is a seller-specific issue. You may not have this problem and I would highly recommend this niche cooler. You pay a premium for Noctua products but they're built to a high spec and it shows. Matte black also looks fantastic. Best of luck with your build!

Super Kühler!!! Ich hatte bei meinem Acer Predator Orion 3000 beim zocken wie zb 7 Day to die, immer 90grad und er hat die Leistung reduziert, mit dem Kühler bin ich bei 66-67 grad, einfach der Wahnsinn!

Very good cooler. It lowered the CPU temperature by about 20 degrees (i7 14700 KF). It is a fairly quiet cooler. I had to buy extra screws to install it.

Excelente solución para enfriar el CPU y cabe perfectamente en casi cualquier gabinete (excepto gabinetes tipo "slim") Yo lo instalé con un CPU Ryzen 5 5600X y puedo decir que es mucho mas eficiente que un enfriamiento líquido de 120mm además de ser increíblemente silencioso

Al principio tenía algo de dudas sobre la funcionalidad tan maravillosa del disipador. Lo puse en un Acer predator orion 3000. Elegí este porque es de los pocos que caben en esta torre tan pequeña. El pc está muy bien en general pero venía flojo de refrigeración de fábrica, aunque con cooler máster. En cualquier cosa algo más exigente se ponía el procesador a 89-90°, eso es una barbaridad, rozando el límite ya. Después de poner noctua, desde el primer momento, los mismos programas y juegos de antes, mismas características, 25-30° menos que antes, de momento (3 días) ha llegado máximo a 65 °. Eso es la ostia de bajada de temperatura. Me sorprendí para bien, pero que vamos. Esperaba alguna mejora pero tanto ni imaginaba. Y luego el montaje super fácil. Ni siquiera fue necesario desmontar la placa de Acer. Fue desmontar el viejo, mirar las partes que venían para mí placa (1200lga en mi caso, pero ahí partes y para otros - 1700lx, amd, etc...) y probé 2-3 variantes de montaje sin quitar la placa y colocar el soporte que viene en la caja de atras. Total, en 5 min aprovechando el soporte de fábrica coloque las placas y tornillos necesarios para sujetar el disipador, un poco de pasta térmica después de limpiar el procesador de la vieja (ah, dentro de la caja viene una jeringuilla con pata térmica de la marca noctua, solo eso vale 10 euros, así que un detallazo!), apretar las dos tuercas con muelles para que reparten la pasta y se unan bien el radiador con el procesador, colocar el ventilador y enchufarlo y au. A funcionar. La verdad que una maravilla.
