These are not super hard to install, but it takes time to align them and for the adhesive to set. They are a hard pressed paper / card board. Means: it does not lay totally flat and need to apply some pressure until the glue sets. The gaps between each "tile" need filled and lightly sanded to make it once professional looking wall cover. While it is not really easy to install, the result is worth it.

I just finished doing my office wall with these panels. We used spacers as recommended so that we could spackle in between the panels for a smooth look. The downside of doing that is that it is extremely difficult to sand when there are raised parts of the pattern on both sides of the crevice. it's so difficult that I actually think we're going to take it all down. I think it would be multiple days worth of effort to sand it. I have no idea what we're going to do at this point. We might tear it all off and try again being super careful with the spackle before it dries, or by a different product that is pre-painted. This product says that it's white but it isn't. You'll need to paint it white if you want it white, and it took us all day to do one coat of primer because of the texture. It might be possible to use a paint sprayer but I'm not sure because again there's a half inch texture with a lot of corners. I'm feeling kind of a love-hate relationship with this product

We were looking for a church pulpit background that would provide dimension. These 3D panels were perfect. I would have given them 5 stars if the material didn't smudge so easily. We wanted a matte finish and didn't want to paint them, but the raw material gets dirty easily. Otherwise, I love the outcome.

Instructions said to caulk seams and sand, but the panels are very similar to cardboard and could not be sanded. I painted the white background in addition to the squares so they can be cleaned/wiped off.
