I ordered this for my local Ren Faire's Pirate Weekend and it was exactly what I needed! It can be styled as romantic, pirate, fantasy, anything you want! The only flaws are that the shoulders slip up easily during dancing, fencing, anything like that(but let's be honest, do any off-the-shoulders stay off the shoulders?), and that alone, the elastic can feel a little abrasive, but that was easily fixed by a bodice hugging it a little tighter to my skin. With a thin shirt underneath or anything like a bodice, corset, or any other tight over piece, it's quite comfortable and not too hot! It held up well for my single day of non-stop dancing and came out with no damage, and I don't expect it to decline quickly. It was far cheaper than anything else like this I could find, either online or in person, and so far it seems to be standing up to all expectations!

I'm giving 3 stars because of the material. Very cheaply made. I'm going to hand wash it. I wouldn't throw it in the wash. It gets 3 stars because it is pretty.It stinks really bad out of the package.It says it's 100% polyester but feels more like a plastic tarp.3 stars cause it's pretty.

This is a fabulous blouse, and worked perfectly for my granddaughte's outfit. She is 12, and this review is for a size small. She dressed as a girl "Edward Scissorhands" for Halloween, but as steampunk without the scissor hands for school and parades. This blouse is impressive, because it's real, not just costume-grade, and it really looks nice.

It gets the job done to wear for a costume under a corset or dress, but I wouldn’t wear it on its own. Fabric is thin, a bit see through, and very cheap feeling/looking.
