The reason of return is smaller size but good quality.

My old one broke. Th8s fit like a charm

Perfect fit. The original broke so unable to measure. I measured the part attached to the ceiling at approximately 8 in. This was great, not expensive, shipped fast and securely packaged. Relieved as stores didn’t sell it.
